It also has a stand alone bungalow room, which I stayed in, which is like having one’s own little home! There is a beautiful pool on the property as well. The family that runs the property is great and will do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable.

The air conditioning worked well plus a strong ceiling fan. The room was clean as well and the host provided an adapter in the room. He also welcomed us with two fresh coconut waters and on the morning of our safari at 5am he was kind enough to make us coffee. On our last day he gave us fresh watermelon slices before checking out. We were also picked up and dropped off from the bus station by the host. Very helpful and kind. Would recommend

Riverview Cabana Tissamaharama se găsește în Tissamaharama, la 4,5 km de Tissa Wewa, și are o grădină, o terasă și parcare privată gratuită. Great spot to base yourself for Yala Park. The Cabana has 2 rooms available to book, one on the top floor with a terrace and one on the ground floor. My friend and I each booked one of the rooms which are equal in size and amenities. Very clean and a decent shower, good ac and wifi. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating. She helped us with booking a Yala Park Tour. Best breakfast! Overall, great price and spot for access to Yala.

Heaven in Satinwoods se află în Tangalle, la aproximativ 4 minute de mers pe jos de Plaja din Tangalle și la mai puțin de 1 km de Plaja Rekawa. This was our first stay here, but not the last! We extended our stay for more nights because this place is so wonderful. We loved every single detail here - the rooms are clean and chill thanks to A/C. There is water, tea, coffee and water boiler in the room. You get fresh juice, refreshing towel and flower necklace when you arrive. The tables are also decorated with flowers and there were so many different things on the menu which you can order here. And the food, rice and curry, was the best we had in Sri Lanka. Same with the breakfast so it was also our favourite. You can get also really good coffee here! The nature around is beautiful and they are taking so good care of the plants and animals. We saw for example giant squirrel and so many beautiful birds during our stay. It’s nice to swim at the Rock Pool Beach, which is close. We have travelled a lot and this is the only place we can really say feels like home. The most important thing which makes this place so special are the people - special thanks to Dalu and Chami. They are the most friendly and helpful people, we had a great time with them. They make this place a paradise where you want to return again and again.

Featuring sea views, AMOUR AT TURTLE BEACH is located in the Tangalle Beach district of Tangalle, 23 km from Hummanaya Blow Hole and 20 metres from Rekawa Lagoon. I am on a 3-week trip around Sri Lanka and this has been my No. 1 highlight. Accommodation was just as advertised, if not better - great location (5 minute walk to the beach), spacious airconditioned rooms, lovely jungly surroundings and great views while sitting outside and having breakfast every morning. Peacocks, squirrels, wild parrots - to name just a few species... normal daily views/visits without even stepping outside of the garden. Incomparable peacefulness. Sri Lankan breakfast was great and kept me full until dinner. They also provide lunch and dinner, upon request. Last but not least - Ruchira, the landlord, was the best host ever. He took me around when I just arrived to show me what is where, provided valuable tips and arranged for me to go see the sea turtles lay their eggs on the beach one night. All in all - the accommodation, as well as the village and the beach, is perfect for people who, like me, seek peace and quiet. The overall vibe is homey and friendly. There is no loud music, there are no beach bars, there are no watersports - amazing.

The host is so helpful and friendly. He helped us arrange a safari with a very good guide and took us around to local attractions like birdwatching and batwatching and made getting to and from Tissa easy. Good food and clean room.

Set in Tangalle within 15 km of Hummanaya Blow Hole and 6 km of Tangalle Lagoon, Turtle Watch Cabana provides rooms with free WiFi. Absolutely fabulous place very rustic,as I remember Sri Lanka would I stay here again 💋 definitely!!
