Located in Mountmellick and only 22 km from Tullamore Dew Heritage Centre, Summergrove House provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. I highly recommend Summergrove House. This place is spectacular. I wish we had stayed 2 nights. James was wonderful and very passionate about the house. I think he did most of the restoration himself and it appears he runs the place himself. It was really a special experience. The house is beautifully furnished and the grounds are big, lush, and green. James cooked us our breakfast while we all sat in the kitchen at a big table. He greeted us on the front steps and had drinks ready in the drawing room. We had a 2 room suite and it was over the top fun to stay in them! I would stay here again any day.

Offering a garden and garden view, Kearney's Cottage B&B is located in Killenard, 18 km from Kildare Town Heritage Centre and 23 km from Athy Heritage Centre-Museum. Delicious homemade breakfast. Extremely tidy room/bathroom/ linens. I am a host myself and trust me when I say that the ratio quality/ price is excellent! I recommend this place to anyone and will definitely come back.

The B&B home & surroundings are amazing. The rooms are extremely comfortable with all the necessities. Breakfast is fabulous and conversations with Liz are welcomed.

A Georgian town house conveniently located between Main Street and the railway station, Ivyleigh House in Portlaoise offers elegant bed and breakfast accommodation. When first checking in I was presented with the breakfast menu for the following days. It had a variety of options but as I was mostly using public transport I stuck eating cereal. It is also perfectly situated halfway between the train station and the main street, with a multi-story car park and cinema across the street.

Around 5 minutes’ drive from Mountmellick, Barrow View B&B enjoys a relaxed setting near the River Barrow, and provides free parking and Wi-Fi. Barrow view was excellent. Clean and comfy. Scrumptious breakfast. Anne was great to chat with and an extreme hostess.

Boasting garden views, Oak House Laois B&B offers accommodation with a garden, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge, around 17 km from Kildare Town Heritage Centre. Even though we only stayed one night I loved our stay at the oak house. Everything about the property, from our lovely hostess Trish, the cozy beds, and homemade bread at breakfast made us feel at home. I loved the property and amenities offered. Our room was well stocked with lots of delicious snacks. I will 100% stay again and longer next time instead of just a pass through.

Such charming staff and environment, plus a five star dinner in excellent company left is wanting to come back.

Set in the Valley of Stradbally, Fitz Of Inch - Self Catering House and Barns is located in the heart of Ireland's Ancient East. It was a dream.. absolutely amazing accomodation.. large kitchen with a lot of equipment, nice and clean room and bathroom. Everything there is so stylish, so beautiful. I cannot describe it, you must stay there. Staff very kind, local dogs lovely..very recommended!
