Boasting a garden and views of river, Picket Post House Bed & Breakfast is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Catterall, 24 km from North Pier. We needed a place to stop for the night halfway through a long drive, and Picket Post House provided everything we could have wanted. The house itself is wonderful, with beautiful garden grounds. We splurged on the cooked breakfast, which was excellent, although the continental breakfast would have filled us up on its own. The hostess even went out of her way to find some gluten free bread for us. Highly recommended.

Good size room with comfortable beds. Meals incl breakfast very good. Only not so good is the possibility to park close to the property but it work well for us after all. Will def come back.
