Located within 23 km of FlyDSA Arena and 35 km of Buxton Opera House in Chesterfield, The Peacock at Barlow provides accommodation with seating area. This was our favorite place that we stayed during our two week vacation in England! The quality is very high. Bed was comfortable, nice heated floors in the bathroom, robes to wear, beautiful view out the window, delicious scone greeting us. The list goes on. Also, breakfast was delicious!

We felt very welcome as soon as we arrived. Lynn gave us lots of information about the area. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice.. Nothing seemed too much trouble. We wish we could have stayed longer.

The room was absolutely gorgeous. Lovely huge bathroom, huge bed and a really comfy sofa. Plenty of wardrobe space. Tea and coffee making. 2 wine glasses and a bottle opener. A refillable glass bottle of cold water in the fridge and a bottle of milk. There were hand soap and shower/shampoo (all refillable) which is great to see rather than individual toiletries. There were guide books in the hallway that you could borrow for walking and cycling. The owner was really welcoming and very accommodating. Beautiful house. Location was perfect.
