The village is very quiet. The view is spectacular and the sunsets are idyllic. The village nightlife concentrates around a shop run by Antonio and it is a good place to meet the villagers. Very nice, family owned, place to stay. Good location for the main trails (cova and xoxo). Shops and restaurant are very close. New building, comfortable room. You wake up early with the light and noise, but this is normal everywhere in the island and is good to start your walk on time ;) Breakfast is great, every morning a different option. Great to start the day. João is a very friendly host, who will help you arrange and plan everything you need, we will be back!

La kasa Tambla in Ponta do Sol ofrece vistas al jardín, alojamiento, bar, jardín y terraza. Hay wifi gratis en todas las instalaciones. We stayed in the seaside view studio and the view was really fantastic, plus we could see the sunset straight from our sofa ! The studio overall was very comfortable, with all necessary amenities, very clean. Really kind staff, Guillaume (the owner) was also there and shared with us a lot of great hike suggestions! Breakfast was simple, but more than enough for us, very very tasty and home made.

Its not only all the languages she speaks but also the kindness and willingness to support in every sense of it. You will feel save and well taken care of! The meals are homemade, the bed really comfy and hot water always available (unusual in the area but much needed)

View from the Hotel is amazing. And it is really nice to get nice hot shower and tasty meal after day of hiking. I can truly recommend this beautiful valley and casa cavoquinho as a relaxing place to stay.

The girls were so kind and helpful and David speaks English super well and was very prompt to answer any questions I had about the local area and b&b. Absolutely recommend staying here if you’re in ponta do sol. WiFi is also decently fast for Cape Verde standards. Super clean rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast was also delicious every morning.

Nice place to stay. Like a little paradise. Isa was always making sure that everything was going well and even made sure to book all the activities for us. Really good food as well.
