Shawnigan Hills Guest Suite is located in the heart of Shawnigan Lake. The apartment consists of a separate bedroom, living room, kitchen and a private bathroom. I had an amazing stay, just what I needed after a few days of camping. The suite was comfortable and is decorated really nice. The amenities and breakfast were great. Would love to stay again if I ever get the chance!

Situated in Coal Harbour, 22 km from Port Hardy Ferry Terminal, The Oceanfront Inn on Stephens Bay features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and water sports facilities. The hospitality of the host Michelle was outstanding. We arrived at 1:00 am and she was wide awake, waiting for us and giving directions how to reach to the property, took us to the room and made us feel secure & comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful, top of the world. We have been to many part of the world and stayed at many 5 star hotels. But the breakfast served at the Inn on Stephens Bay better than the 5 star hotels. It was healthy, just melts down in the mouth. The lawn and outside of the property is well maintained.

Nimpkish Hotel is located on the beachfront in Alert Bay, Cormorant Island. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. What a fantastic place! Very warm welcome from Penba and his husband who are managing this beautiful hotel. We looooved the oceanfront outside patio which got everything to feel cozy and relaxed : hammock, comfy sofas, you name it! Very quiet, room and the whole hotel was sparkling! Penba is also a wonderful cook so we had dinner in the bright living room, gazing at the ocean while eating a super flavourful homemade palek paneer! I walked all along the seaside and up to see the world's tallest totem pole, and looked at all the Kwakwa̱ka̱ʼwakw art and history along the walk. So instructive and beautiful! Did not go to the cultural center as I arrived too late but it is a good excuse to come back and stay at the Nimpkish Hotel again!

Located in Saanichton and only 4.8 km from Brentwood Bay Ferry Terminal, The Inlet Bed & Breakfast provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Would we come back? Absolutely! Our hosts, Mark and Carolyn, were gracious, accommodating, a joy to sit with and chat about any and all things. The breakfast was new each of the four days we stayed at the Inlet. Upon arrival Mark went through a list of questions to set us up for our stay. After the first breakfast we provided a little more feedback on our desires. And each day we got exactly what we asked for in quantities that we could not finish. The rooms were nice and quiet. We were in the deluxe room and had more than enough space. The water pressure was good and the hot water worked really well. The space was clean and well kept. The grounds were beautiful and well managed. Lots of places to sit and relax. You could come here and keep to yourself and just chill. Or you could interact with others. We traveled with family. But I could see it for couples that just want to unwind. The property is not far in transit time to the north to Sidney or to the south to Victoria. Or to the west to go up island as they say towards Malahat, Duncan, etc.
