Offering free WiFi and city views, Merveilleux provides accommodation situated in Ghent, just 200 metres from St. Nicholas' Church. The location was absolutely perfect. Close to metro lines and all the best sights in Ghent. There were plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants, and beautiful spots within walking distance. We had an excellent view from our room which included a view of some of the fabulous architecture. The B&B is over a bakery, which is also run by the B&B owner, and it has very tasty coffee, tea and pastries. The room was very comfortable, the TV was large, and the aircon was easy to use and very quiet. Housekeeping did a great job of sprucing up the room every day. The staff was very prompt with answering questions. Whenever we go back to Ghent, we will surely choose Merveilleux again!

An outdoor courtyard to sit and relax. A mini fridge, comfortable bed and coffee and tea making facilities. Breakfast was excellent - plenty to eat and wide choice. Marc was very friendly and welcoming.

The owners have got everything spot on in setting up this purpose-built B&B. Communication of details prior to arrival was excellent. We arrived late in the evening in the dark and rain, but pulling into the tastefully lit and very neat driveway / parking area gave an immediate sense of relaxation. Entry to both the gated drive and apartment was by keypad, so all very straightforward despite the late hour. The apartment was spotlessly clean, with every single aspect so well designed and carefully thought through. Efficient air conditioning, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, impressively well-equipped kitchen (hob, double oven, large fridge, dishwasher, all the crockery and utensils you could need for extended self-catering), and copious cupboard space throughout. It has its own patio area with a pleasant view. The location is peaceful. Ghent itself is readily accessible, but for me the rural area to the north was more of an attraction. Quiet, flat roads in pristine condition made for a very enjoyable early morning run. We were there for only a weekend, but I would have happily stayed much longer.

What a wonderful place, renovated with love and a look into every detail, modern features and a very warm welcome by Sofie. The breakfast was made upon every wish with fresh items, most Bio and served in a special room with wonderful view into the garden. Everything perfect for a relaxing stay. Gent, Brugge and Anwerpen to reach within 1 hour. Many good restaurants within 10 minutes drive.
