Complimentary cheese board and wine upon arrival, freshly cooked breakfast in the morning. The room itself is luxurious in terms of space and attention to details. The bathroom is enormous. We very much appreciated the comfortable bathtub after spending the day cycling 25km on Maria Island. Having stayed at The Tasman in a "luxury suite" for two nights the Barracks is more luxurious in comparison. The best of all, the hosts very patiently detailed their journey of restoring the Barracks which is fascinating and inspiring. Needless to say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend anyone to experience the hospitality of the Barracks.

Wheel House Studio ligt in Bicheno, dicht bij naar Bicheno Beach en op 2,4 km van Redbill Beach, en heeft een balkon met de zee, een tuin en een terras. We loved the little studio, it was really comfy. Perfect for a night on the road. Some impressive cliffs, beautiful at sunrise, only 150m from there. Everything was comfy and there was even a small pack for breakfast with bread, butter, jam, peanut butter, ... nice touch. Thank you again for everything

They are also quite knowledgeable about the history of the place, there is a huon pine tree in the nice gardens of the house and the "Honesty-bar" has a very good selection of wines from mainland Australia and especially Tasmania.

We love meeting Robert and Taco 🦜 (he is such a good boy). It was such a cozy and warm room, and we had a fresh baked bread for breakfast, we love the location and we are definitely coming back.
