Well. This place is extraordinary. Wonderfully decorated and brand new. Breakfast was so good. Even though I was the only guest that day, there stil was lots of everything and even pancakes and freshly pressed juice. Much higher standard than expected for this price.

It is a heavenly place. The owner was very kind and she was attentive to guide us since we arrived at night. I recommend you arrive during the day because the road is winding and very dark. The room has an incredible view, I'm sorry we could only stay 1 night. I would go back to this place!

Maratea is a little gem and La Giancarla BnB made our stay there perfect.

We so enjoyed our short stay at B&B Mariposa, a stop on our drive from Naples to Sicily. Angela was an amazing host, greeting our arrival with a glass of wine and delicious cheeses, marinated zucchini, olives and bread. The room was comfortable, with a view of the Mediterranean. Breakfast was great. The best and most memorable part of the stay was Angela herself - helpful, fun and delightful.

Excellent breakfast with so many choices, muesli's, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, fresh pastries, juices etc etc. Was wonderful enjoying this on the open terrace while taking in the beautiful views.     Stunning location, charming staff at reception, clear water, amazing landscape, quiet and calm, fabulous pool, lovely breakfast, beach chairs and umbrella, bar and good restaurant. It felt like an authentic Italian holiday place, which it is.

    Great location! This place has something that is very unique in these parts of Italy: It is secluded. Situated at the south side of the village means that you have no neighbours in close proximity and the private cliff-beach almost all to yourself. Great breakfast and super kind and attentive staff!

    This hotel is on a quiet road just outside of Maratea, with access to a small rocky beach for hotel use only. Two good pools and plenty of private little terraces amongst the trees with terrific views where you can lose yourself in a book for the afternoon. The staff could not have been more helpful. The breakfast is plentiful and varied, with the usual continental fare as well as cereals, cooked eggs, bacon and sausage. A 5 minute drive to Fiumincello offers several good places for dinner.
