I'm very particular about cleanliness. This was the only B&B that I used the towels and cutlery provided. The host has done a great job of keeping the rooms and everything clean and cozy. I can see they are putting lots of efforts on their cottage. Highly recommended!

What a sweet night spent in this lovely little bedroom (the twin one) which is very comfortable and tastefully decorated! Everything is made to let us cocooning and calmly resting in it. We have found the same atmosphere during the breakfast facing the sea: delicious fresh and organic products, eggs directly from the coop and warm and friendly welcome from Maureen and Pete. We had to leave but it was reluctantly... we'll definitely come back. We really recommend this B&B in Kerry... don't hesitate to stay there! PS: Thanks for the homemade biscuits and all the nice attentions

We arrived a bit after checkout time (about 30 minutes to an hour). We had notified ahead of time, and they said that it would be fine. What we found when we arrived is that both reception and the person in charge of the kitchen were waiting for us past hours. Reception checked us in, while being super kind and understanding. We had arrived about 2 minutes after the kitchen was closed, but the person in charge of the kitchen allowed us to settle in a minute, and ushered us to the restaurant area and made sure we could still get food. Super kind and understanding from the people who are handling the day to day, and after a difficult drive, super appreciated.

The Carriag Liath House is fantastic! The host Francis goes above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay on Valentia Island! The property, the views and the proximity to Portmagee for food and fun makes this a perfect spot for holiday getaway!

Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was spotless and good quality shower. Breakfast was perfect before a big day out at the Skelligs. Hosts were friendly and so helpful, even before I came to stay!
