Itomori byggdes 2018 och ligger 7 minuters promenad från stationen JR Takayama. Takayamas gamla stadsdel ligger 6 minuters promenad bort, och till Takayama Jinya är det 10 minuters promenad. Excellent location, close to everything but still quiet. Beds were extremely comfortable. The air conditioning worked very well.

All facilities made our stay easy. We loved cooking dinner and enjoyed a very relaxed two days in Takayama. Convenient to have a separate bath/shower area and washing machine+dryer. Three bedroom was perfect for our family of five. The location of the house is very convenient as well, just a few minutes away from the temple, old streets and market. Also close to supermarkets. We will definitely book this place again to explore the region a bit more.

The hospitality given to us by the owner was above and beyond. We arrived late but it was no problem. He then cooked us a delicious dinner. Breakfasts were simple and yummy. The next evening the host took us to partake in an onsen at his "local" country club" and then had us booked into the terrific restaurant there which was great as we were there in low season and nothing close by was open. Highly recommend.
