Very quiet and the kitchen was fully furnished for a long stay, although I only had 2 nights booked. The host provided a loaf of bread, jam and fresh eggs on the counter.

We were running late to a wedding and he happily dropped us over to the venue. Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, The Garden Rooms at The Courtyard, Townley Hall is situated in Drogheda, 4.8 km from Dowth and 5.7 km from Newgrange. We loved everything about The Garden Rooms. In fact we stayed an extra night as the hosts Valerie and Bryan were so very warm and accommodating. Aside from the stunning buildings and beautiful tucked away country location, it was so close to ancient Newgrange (Brú na Bóinne) and the historic Hill of Slane, amongst other local treasures. The gorgeous 2 b/rm. Garden Room Apartment catered perfectly for our family and the yummy local items for a simple continental breakfast were icing on the forever loved Irish cake!

Situated 2.1 km from Proleek Dolmen and 24 km from Jumping Church of Kildemock in Dundalk, Clanbrassill loft offers accommodation with a kitchenette. It was stunning, spacious, quiet and really well decorated, if I could I would have stayed longer. Loved the location and the owner was very welcoming.

Located in Dundalk and only 10 km from Carlingford Castle, Croí Beag Luxury Studio provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. This spot provided the perfect stay for us on our first couple nights in Ireland. It was incredibly cozy, well-kept, fantastic location to venture into smaller towns during the day/evening while having a nice and quiet respite for the night. Walking up to the sunrise and sheep sounds was the perfect idyllic Irish experience.

What not to love at this property? The apartment was very clean with state of the art furniture and comfortable beds. The host Mary was very helpful, caring and warm as well. The location is also very safe for kids. We will definitely use use this property again in the future. Thanks Mary 😊
