This apartment is the best! It is huge with a wonderful balcony, hosts are very kind, they allowed us to use another room in the morning and leave our bags until our room is ready. They also brought us our bags to the public ferry after the check out since we went to visit Karnak. Breakfast was great with a wonderful view from the terrace. If you want to experience the real Luxor, you should definitely stay here, as the nature and surrounding is incredible.

In November/December we stayed three weeks in the beautiful Blue Nile House in a great apartment: spacious, clean, with three balconies and great views over grasslands, corn and rice fields, and the river Nile. Our host, Sayed, and his team are very kind and most helpful. The daily breakfast under the beach umbrella near the swimming pool was something to look forward to every morning. For dinner there was a varied menu of delicious Egyptian meals to choose from. The somewhat remote location of the hotel (distance to the ferry is 2,8 km) guarantees a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. There are several possibilities to visit the ancient Egyptians monuments. Sayed can arrange for taxis and excursions by car, and there are lots of tuktuks on the road. We hired two bikes for three weeks at Mohammed Satohe’s ‘Bicycles for hire’ in the village to visit the Valley of the Kings, the temples and tombs on the West Bank, following good Dutch tradition. Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, garden and views of quiet street, CASA LOKO Guest House is located in Luxor, 3.2 km from Medinet Habu Temple. My husband and I enjoyed very much our stay. We definitely recommend it to everyone. *The place has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. *They offer food from a close by restaurant and it is delicious. *The pool is well keep and it is great for relaxing. *The location is the perfect middle point to everything (Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens is 10-15 minutes drive. Within 15 minutes walk you get to the harbor where you can cross by boat directly to Luxor temple or Karnak Temple). We both felt extremely welcome. Mahmoud, Mohammed and Ibrahim were amazing hosts, they speak good English and are very kind. Casa Loko can also arrange different tours for you.

The place was very nice clean and spacious. It's about 15 minutes outside the city, but the compound is situated right beside a nice market ( AL Rayah Market) and it has everything you would need to fix up a quick meal if need be. Our host was able to set us up on a hot air balloon ride and it was one of the most amazing experiences for our family here in Egypt. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Perfect for visting the mouments. Quiet with both a roof terrace and a leafy downstairs garden. thoughtful little things were provided such as salt, water on arrive, washing powder, etc. built in the traditional style -the main living room is the same structure as the pharaohs tombs.

Offering garden views, Moonlight Home is an accommodation located in Luxor, 2.6 km from Colossi of Memnon and 3.6 km from Medinet Habu Temple. Oh. Everything. I like the staff the most, they are the best hosts ever. They always made us feel at home. We forgot our charger and they are willing to send it to Cairo. I mean simply amazing. A great apartment which can hold 6 people. Lovely balconies with a view of sugarcane field. Nice breakfast. There is also a common washing machine, which is very helpful.

There were quite a few things to be liked specially the warm welcome by the host. The place was totally neat and clean like new. Almost everything of daily use was available. The host specially took out time and took me outside to show all around like the super store, the nearby eating place and where to get the boat to travel to the other side of the Nile. Immediately arranged for the drop off to airport on my request. It was very peaceful place. Beds were comfortable.
