In addition we got a bigger apartment which was not so warm. It is within a very safe place and with a code for the door, which makes it very easy.

BEE Suites Santa Ana is situated in Santa Ana and has a pool with a view and garden views. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. Our stay was great, everything we needed was provided at the property, they have a little garden where we could relax and do yoga near the pool. Gym is available too. Very convenient location near a big supermarket. We loved it!

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Jardines Secretos is a recently renovated aparthotel located in Rivas, 40 km from Cerro de la Muerte. Great location for hikes in all directions, setting in a beautiful garden, absolutely quiet. The hosts treat you like family. We stayed there before (in double room in the garden) and after (in the suite which is actually the former home of the founder of JS) our Chirripo trip. Internet was working pretty good even for streaming movies (with some interruptions). Don’t miss the garden tour and the mirador in the upper part, you get a good view on the dimension of your 1st Chirripo day as well as on Cerro Ventisqueros, the second highest mountain of Costa Rica. Also nice to watch birds.
