Absolutely stunning property in the heart of finnish lapland. We had an out of this world standard of villa with a custom built private sauna and outdoor jacuzzi. Alongside this the layout of the villa, the space, everything was just outstanding. In fact if you ever decide to sell let me know and ill see if i've got enough pennies to buy it. I thought the view in the booking.com listing which shows the northern lights might be doctored using a pc but i can confirm its 100% real and in fact we were lucky enough to capture our own special pics from Villa Ailo 1 of which i have uploaded.

Cottage was cozy and very clean. You can fire the fireplace in the main room. In the bathroom you can use sauna. Sleeping place is not so big. Kitchen is very good equipped. There was also salt, oil, coffee filters, dishwasher tablets. There is also yoga mat. The cottage is not right at the cross country ski routes, so is better to have a car. Or you can go by taxi (there is an app Valopilkku), or 2,5 km walk to Sirkka or in the winter season there is short cut over the lake. On the other hand, the cottage is not in the city center so we can observe northern lights the last evening. Perfect!

Bellissima la sauna personale. Sicuramente migliorabile la pulizia visto che abbiamo trovato capelli sul materasso e nel lavandino in bagno. La pattumiera non era stata completamente svuotata. La possibilità di parcheggiare proprio davanti alla casa. La casa, tutta in legno, è molto bella La sauna era ok. La location in inverno è molto suggestiva immersa nella neve. Il bungalow in cui alloggiavo era dotato di un paio di padelle, posate, bollitore elettrico. C'è anche il forno. Nel complesso è un alloggio funzionale per soggiorni brevi (nel mio caso 4 notti). Nella parte nord del campeggio si trova un tavolino al buio che dà sul fiume ghiacciato il che rende lo rende una buona posizione per vedere l'aurora boreale.
