Set just 2.5 km from Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, Zen Kyoto Apartment Hotel features accommodation in Kyoto with access to a terrace, a bar, as well as a concierge service. The property is really really close to train station, 2-3 minute walk. It is bigger than all other Japan accommodation I’ve been to, newly built so all amenities, equipment and appliances are new. There’s also a comprehensive English version on how to use all equipment so everything was so easy to use. Big bed, lounge, walk in dresser, fridge, microwave, stove and laundry all works well. They even have a documented staff recos on restaurants, etc. Toiletries/towels/detergent are available near lobby if you need more. Everything about this hotel was well thought of and I truly appreciated every detail. 100% highly recommended!

Situated within 1.3 km of Kiyomizu-dera Temple and 1.2 km of Sanjusangen-do Temple in Kyoto, Minn Kiyomizu-Gojo features accommodation with seating area. This was a great place to stay. Located close enough to the areas we wished to see and close to restaurants and only 20 min walk to bar district. Stayed with extended family and each had different rooms. The larger rooms were big enough to hold a family gathering in. Would definitely stay here again.

Well set in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, Minn Sanjo is set less than 1 km from Shoren-in Temple, a 11-minute walk from Gion Shijo Station and 1.4 km from Heian Shrine. This property only recently opened and still looks brand new. Very well integrated design. It felt a little like a very high end motor home or yacht, compact and functional. At the price I paid, an exceptional bargain; although I fear the price will go up.

In the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, close to Gion Shijo Station, INA HOUSE GION has a shared lounge and a washing machine. It was in a perfect place if you want to be just next to the temples and shrines. I liked self-check in system. I stored my luggage in the lobby after the check-out by myself too and it was really easy. Very comfortable and spacious both for a solo traveler or a couple.

Attractively set in the Higashiyama Ward district of Gionmachi, Minn Gion is situated 300 metres from Samurai Kembu Kyoto, 600 metres from Gion Shijo Station and less than 1 km from Shoren-in Temple. The property was very close to local shops and restaurants, the Yasaka Shrine was very close to the Minn.

Set in Kyoto, near Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Samurai Kembu Kyoto and Sanjusangen-do Temple, Komatsu Residences has a garden. Free WiFi is provided. I usually don't write reviews, but I had to for this accommodation. It was just perfect! We loved it! The location is so convenient; you can walk around Gion anytime you wish, and it is one of the most beautiful areas here. Also, the accommodation itself is really pretty. Great bathroom and superb blankets (love them!). Definitely coming back - we loved it!
