Located next to Umeå University, Hotell Björken offers basic rooms with cable TV. Umeå Central Station is a 5-minute drive away and Umeå Airport is an 8-minute drive from the hotel. The hotel was amazing warm and welcoming and the restaurant was great. Breakfast was fantastic. The room was a large size with comfortable lounge chairs as well

Hotell Gamla Fängelset is a converted prison from 1861 located in central Umeå and offers free WiFi and breakfast. All rooms have windows and shared bathroom facilities. very clean and quiet accomodation, parking, very close to the city center. very friendly staff with a good sence of humor

Set in a former medical officer’s villa, this central Umeå hotel is 100 metres from the Ume River. Sauna, relaxation area and WiFi access are free, as is a light evening buffet. Good location, good staff. We had barking dog in other room, so after mentioning this at reception we got a free change to an upgraded room type. Thank you!

Situated in the heart of Umeå, Elite Hotel Mimer faces the Twin Towns Park and the main commercial pedestrian street. Guests have free WiFi along with free access to a sauna and fitness centre. The breakfast was phenomenal! The staff was very accommodating, working with us to offer the best experience possible. They had a sauna that opened at 3pm, but if we wanted to use it a bit earlier, they offered to start it up a bit earlier. The location was perfect, right close to downtown, but also not right in the thick of it. Highly recommend!

Centrally located in Umeå and 50 metres from River Umeälven, this contemporary hotel has self-service check-in kiosks. The Women's History Museum is located next door to this hotel. We loved the view from our room on the 11th floor looking directly over the river. The whole design of the room was excellent, we especially loved the bed having a direct view through the window. The room was not big but it was very functional. There was excellent choice of foods at breakfast. We mannaged to find a parking spot on a public parking between the hotel and the river for a low price (free during the night). We would definitely stay here again.
