Driving from Tromsø, I recommend the ferries : under 150 nok per ferry with a standard car, and nearly half of it with an electric car.

They can advise you on activities, walking routes, local wildlife etc. The food is delicious and based on local ingredients. Their staff are also great. Amazing sauna and hot tub with views of the fjord. The views from the suites are breathtaking- including being able to see the aurora from the comfort of your bed if the skies are clear! They had also let us borrow some arctic overalls which were Incredibly warm so we could sit outside to see the lights as well. They made sure our experience was unforgettable!

The building is old, has an interesting history, which the host told us about, and at the same time, the house has been carefully renovated and contains all modern amenities. The view from the house is breathtaking. There are many interesting places to visit in the area, as well as many hiking trails. I recommend this place!

The place is extremely cozy and beautiful and provides everything you need for a perfect stay. It’s the perfect spot to see the northern lights apart from the crowds. We will definitely come back!
