Set 3.6 km from Telaga Harbour in Kampung Padang Masirat, The Smith House features a restaurant and free WiFi. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free private parking is available on site. This hotel was the best hotel we stayed at in Langkawi. It was clean, the beds were so comfy, big bathroom. Breakfast was the cherry on top, they have egg station and lots of variety. Very family friendly and right next to the airport. The Smith House should be 5 Star hotel.

I would like to express my gratitude to Ms. Idayu, the owner of the homestay, for her outstanding customer service. She was extremely polite, responsive, and helpful throughout our 4-day, 3-night stay. Her local knowledge allowed her to introduce us to some of the best attractions in Langkawi, such as Skycab, Hopping Island, Mangrove Tour, and car rental with various package options suitable for our group of 8. The homestay is situated in a small village, and while the road leading to it is narrow, just drive carefully. it is only a 5-minute drive from the airport and a 15-minute drive from the famous Pantai Chenang beach. Its convenient location also makes it easy for us to access other attractions like Mangrove Tanjung Rhu, Skycab, and Kuah, which are all within a 20 to 30-minute drive. The homestay is perfect for families or large groups, as it can accommodate up to 8 people comfortably. The homely atmosphere and full range of amenities, including a kitchenette (with a stove, fridge, cooking tools, cutlery, utensils, electric water heater, blender, rice cooker, coffee & tea, and sugar), washing machine, hot shower, air conditioning, fan, toiletries, ironing board, hairdryer, television, and more, make it feel like a home away from home. The living and dining areas are spacious, making it ideal for group gatherings, and we enjoyed spending time together at the dining table. Overall, our experience at this homestay was enjoyable and memorable, and we highly recommend it to other travelers seeking a comfortable and well-equipped accommodation in Langkawi.
