يقع Jomon no Yado Manten على بُعد 200 م فقط من مطار ياكوشيما، وعلى بُعد 45 دقيقة بالسيارة من Shiratani Unsuikyo Ravine، ويضم 5 حمامات يابانية مختلفة وأطعمة تقليدية وحمامي ساونا. The location couldn't be better, it is literally across the street from the airport. Bus stops are very plentiful nearby and the hotel staff is very well versed in showing you exactly which buses you need to get to your destination on the island. They are able to call taxis for you if necessary as well. All around wonderful location and very helpful staff!

She helped me to plan my trips, she gave me bus time schedule, she offered to prepare home made onigiri and tea every day so I had a snack for my trips. She knows some basic words in English but she can easily translate everything with the Google Translator. Almost all parts of the house are shared, very friendly atmosphere. Toast bread and coffee/tea are available for a breakfast. There is only one restroom and bathroom but I never had a problem to get there. Great location next to the airport and bus stop and drug store. Not noisy, its almost like in the forest.

The host was very kind, spoke perfect English and went out of his way to help us — making several calls for us. The cottage is extremely spacious and has a full kitchen. We loved our stay here and wish we could have stayed longer!

The owner of the hotel was very hospitable. Ecquiped with Google translator and brought me late at night to grocery shop! Such a lovely plave in the nature. Recommended!!

At Cottage Morinokokage, guests can rent out a cottage with a hammock. Free WiFi is available in the guest rooms. The whole compound was lovely, the room was large, decorated in a vintage like style but actually very modern. The shower was great, beds were very comfortable and I loved the free laundry facilities. Generally they provided more facilities and amenities than I expected. Our host was nice and helpful, making the experience even better. We really enjoyed our stay.

Yakushima Minsyuku Suginoko, a property with a garden, is located in Yakushima, 18 km from Yakusugi Land, 26 km from Shiratani Unsuikyo, as well as 29 km from Jomon Sugi. Suginoko is an awesome place! If you come to Yakoshima with the ferry, it's not that far away from Anbo and easy to get there of foot, and with the bus as well! The accomodation is clean, cozy, it embraces the nature. Ayumi-san is really helpful and were super nice whenever we had "problems" or questions! Cheers Daniel & Chieri

I liked the location because it was convenient to three different hiking areas. I had a sea view room which was clean and comfortable. The nightly dinners allowed me to sample many Japanese delicacies. Staff adapted well to my minimal Japanese language skills and were helpful in areas I needed help. There was good parking space for my rental car and it was convenient to a grocery store.
