If this hotel was an opera I'd scream BRAVO! Every aspect is wonderful from the beautiful gardens to the superb food to the homely feel. The pool is inviting, there are birds everywhere and, without wanting to sound silly, even the soap is exquisite. That's the level of detail this hotel goes to. I mentioned it to the owner and she said her daughter sampled hundreds of soaps. It shows their commitment to excellence.

It is possible to find cheaper accommodation in Jodhpur, closer to the city centre, but the location of the Shanti is a much better area! The city centre is constantly busy, the buildings are degraded and it is very dirty everywhere.
