I like everything about The Poacher, but especially the people who worked there, and particularly the managers: Jayne and Jon. Terrific people who went out of their way to make my stay an enjoyable one. I stayed in four other inns during this trip, and my stay at The Poacher was, by far, the nicest.

The annex had all we needed and the hosts were lovely when we met them, and very helpful with all we needed. we'd definitely stay here again.

O Basingstoke Country Hotel & Spa goza de uma localização tranquila e conveniente na bela paisagem rural, perto da A30 (auto-estrada) e com fácil acesso à Auto-estrada M3. The manager’s service was beyond my expectations. Went out if his way to provide me with a lovely room that was so comfortable and enjoyable to stay in. He went above and beyond on a very busy night due to Ascot races patrons booking in. I really appreciated the care, friendliness and service provided by all of the staff while I waited for my room. I had a late checkout and the quiet and peace was amazing! The grounds were lovely and obviously the whole hotel is being taken care of and refurbished so nicely! Even the security guys were helpful and very friendly. I would love to stay there again. It has history and elegance if it’s time. Absolutely loved my stay.
