Overlooking Lianzhou Gulf's spectacular scenery, Beihai Shangri-La is located by the seaside in Beihai city. The hotel is 22 km from Beihai Fucheng Airport. I had a meeting and forgot a tie, couldn’t find one around. They reception people were super nice and found me one and didn’t even want a tip. Brought some fruit as well in the first day. Great stay, recommend.

The outdoor pool area was great and the children loved it. I enjoyed the cool temperature of the Health Club pool and also the view of the beach from there. Location was excellent for beach days, literally across the road. Breakfast buffet was really good, diverse range of dishes. I also ordered from the room service menu and the food was tasty and delivered promptly. The design of the hotel was elegant and made for a pleasant experience.
