Making the Most of Modernism
The jagged coast of Normandy contrasts with the sharp lines created by Belgian architect Auguste Perret’s post-war modernist creation in Le Havre. The city encompasses an important port at the mouth of the Seine river that flows into the English Channel after passing through Paris.
St. Joseph’s Church rose from the ashes of World War II to become a striking symbol for Le Havre’s architectural awakening. The huge tower consists of a concrete outer skin complemented with a Neo-Gothic interior including coloured-glass windows letting in different shades of light.

În primul rînd curățenia,nu a fost foarte aglomerat, dacă nu mergi la plajă ai alte posibilități de a vizita alte locații. Ai posibilitatea de a te deplasa si cu mijloacele de transport în comun. Nu pot să spun ce nu mi-a plăcut pentru că ne-am simțit bine.
