Located in Mardin, RAYMAR HOTELS MARDİN offers 5-star accommodations with a terrace, a restaurant and a bar.

In fact, I did not find the hotel to be at a five-star level for many reasons, including 1- The hotel did not have a private garage 2- The bathrooms were not up to the required standard 3- The breakfast was lacking in many materials 4- The rooms were not comfortable due to street noise 5- The air conditioning was not good

A beautiful town, completely different from the Turkiye known by those who visit the coast. Kurdish, not Turkish, with Christian buildings going back to the fourth century and a culture that encompasses many religions and languages. A good base for a day trip (with guide) to Midyat and other local sites. Plenty of restaurants, serving wide variety of foods. Wine shops, selling local wines, but no bars in the old town. Really wish we had read more before going. Pictures show the beautiful pale-coloured buildings climbing up the hillside but not the fact that the 'roads' are more often steps. Wonderful small narrow streets, a copper bazaar where people were at work, incredible churches, mosques and madrasas - but you need to have good hips and knees! An excellent Hamam, open for men mornings and evenings, for women in the afternoons. For anyone interested in early Christianity, in cultural melting pots, or in somewhere unlike most tourist towns, Mardin and Midyat, and the necropolis at Dara, the area is exceptional. Allow about four days and bring sensible shoes. Good and cheap bus service from the airport, no need to use taxis.

This was the second time to visit Mardin, this time during a small road trip. Mardin is a place were you don not see Western people. Please do not mention it, otherwise it will ruined as other old citys. Atmosfere specicial on the market is like 200years old. Views are amazing, and most important the people.

Mardin old town is a remarkable destination - fabulous architecture, great shopping, many wonderful restaurants, and world renown historic sites nearby. We stayed at Fairouz Konak Otel, which we would highly recommend - it is a historic building in the heart of Mardin old town, within easy walking distance of many restaurants and stores, We were welcomed by our thoughtful host with delicious offerings of food and drink; he was able to answer all our questions about his city. The hotel was memorable for its charming rooms, fantastic panoramic views from many terraces, delicious breakfasts, and excellent host and staff, We highly recommend a visit to Mardin and a stay at Fairouz Konak Otel!

Mardin is one good medium city not very bussy for turists. There is one old and interesting city with a lot of loveley mosque, houses and narrow street, very different for others places from Europe. I used this location for travell to Dara and Husankyf on Tigris river.

Mardin is beautiful and ancient and wonderful.

Mardin is beautiful and ancient and wonderful. Everyone was so friendly - I never encountered even one person who wasn't kind and gracious. I think the only down side to Mardin is all of the litter. Although I saw several workers cleaning, it seems the people of Mardin don't understand the impact of throwing you trash out the window, which I saw a lot of. Nonetheless, I loved Mardin. The history, the people, the general feel... wonderful! I will return!

Mardin is a very interesting city in the East of Turkey.

Mardin is a very interesting city in the East of Turkey. There are a lot of places to visit for a person who loves history, culture and tasty food. People who live there are different: Turks, Kurds, Syriacs. The city is quite friendly and calm. There are a lot of must-visit places in the city center. It is also interesting to visit the close cities, like Midyat, Sanliurfa, Gobekli Tepe. But I advice not to go in winter. This time it had started to snow right before the flight. So it was cancelled, the airport was closed for 2 days, as it was no ready for the weather somehow.

A wonderful stay where staff go above and beyond with their service and cleanliness. The rooms are spotless, the location is in a great spot, in Old Mardin with touristic spots nearby. The staff will stop at nothing to ensure your stay at Mardin is everything you wanted. The only thing I’d pick on is the amount of stairs taken to get there BUT this is in no way the hotels fault as Mardin has stairs everywhere to get to anywhere! Highly recommend this place, we will definitely be coming back!

The staff at Merdin Hotel were very kind and helpful. They serve amazing Turkish breakfast which you will it while staring at the gorgeous landscape. Got to say that the Turkish coffee they served me was one of the best of the best I have tasted in all Turkey. The location is perfect, not far from the center yet a bit more on the side, far from the noise. The hotel has a balcony on which you can sit in the evenings and feel the cool breeze while enjoying your cup of tea.

This hotel was cosy and unique. It definately gave the Mardin vibes you needed! The view from the rooftop terrace was the best part for me. The rooms are decent and spacious. Breakfast was delicious and Mardin has the best Cay! Host was kind enough let us select our rooms. I was pleasantly surprised by the door key and iron bar securing the door from the inside. The best part of our stay were Nuh Bey and his team! They represent the culture and nature of the region, which we fell in love with. Nuh Bey does his best to accommodate the guests and make them feel like at home. He gave us a tour of a few places in Mardin, and helped us find a restaurant to celebrate the NY. The hotel is located in the very center of Mardin, so a good place to reach all historical sites of the city.

There are 3 reasons you should come to this hotel if you stay in mardin. I surely recommend this hotel. 1. The artistic view is waiting for you. The hotel is located one of the highest place in Mardin so you can see the broad mesopotamian plateau. 2. This hotel looks very old, but I think it is remodeled recently. Even you can see Netflix or Youtube with the smart TV. 3. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

The hotel was quite nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Mardin is a city that involves climbing innumerable stone steps and no elevators because it is built on rock. This made the hotel quite charming but challenging for a person with low stamina. But as everywhere in Turkey, the staff carries all your luggage up and down.
