This is our second stay at this beautiful apartment and it's just sheer perfection. Our host is so helpful and communicative, making sure everything went smoothly. The apartment was spotless, with an incredible view and an amazing little pool. Perfect location near to the marina and just ideal to kick back and unwind. We love it here, and will return. The location is amazing. There are lovely sea views from the ground and first floor levels. There are 3 double bedrooms and bathrooms, 2 of which are en-suite. The host Claudia was very helpful. It is only a short walk into Puerto Calero where there are lots of restaurants.

Puerto Calero is a lovely harbour town which is within easy reach of the busier louder Puerto del Carmen, and only 20-30 minutes from Arecife airport. Lovely place small but lots great restaurants I would recommend Azure and bars I would recommend Upper Deck ! The market on Tuesday and Friday is really good lots nice items including homemade crafts ! The supermarket is well supplied and there are lots boat activities and water ferry to keep families busy !

The Cesar Manrique house in Haria and foundation at Tahiche...
The Cesar Manrique house in Haria and foundation at Tahiche are well worth a visit. His artwork and architecture are visible throughout the island. Hiring a car is probably advisable as the local bus stop is slightly out of town. Two restaurants for good quality food are Bodega Uga and La Bodega De Santiago.

Lovely marina, didn't actually eat here but the restaurants were reasonably priced considering the location. A new shopping centre and supermarket is under construction. This will give the town a big boost. Bus service to PDC and Playa Blanca is regular and cheap particularly if you buy a travel card.

We have stayed in Puerto Calero many times ,it is a small resort but we love the relaxed and quiet atmosphere around the marina , the staff at the various restaurants are always pleasant and welcoming , it is a lovely resort to just walk around or take longer coastal walks to Carmen one way or the small village Quemeda the other way . Calero has such a pleasant atmosphere especially on a evening .StephenUnited Kingdom

It is peaceful, quiet and clean with easy access to the pool nearby and sun on the balcony in the morning and on the terrace at the front in the afternoon. Rosa the host was really friendly and helpful for check in and very generous when I needed to check out a late. Puerto Calero is a nice quiet area with a lovely harbour and the coastal walk along to the busier Puerto Del Carmen is really nice - would recommend! The grounds are very well maintained which makes roaming throughout the complex feel magical. the breakfast buffet is fantastic with its of choices so that you can change what you eat every time and everything is appetising. The pool areas are beautiful. The staff is always amazingly kind and accommodating. We always feel cherished and taken care of which is why we return frequently to the hotel. The development f the gym is great, more space and more equipment.

There are more than enough restaurants and a couple of good bars. Apartment was clean and spacious. Netflix was included on TV. 1 minute walk to swimming pool but does not overlook the pool as might be believed from photographs on booking.com. We preferred this as it was quieter where we were. Good communication from the host. Washing machine and utility area at rear of apartment.

Easy to walk to the pier (and the small grocery to get sunscreen and snacks). We find that having breakfast and dinner (half board) is MORE than enough!
