Savudrija is nothing special, there is a good beach at the autocamping and nothing else. We only booked here our accomodation because we wanted to visit the Slovenian beaches and cities and the border is close here and here was cheap place to stay.

Savudrija is a quiet part of North Istria mostly visited by Austrians, Germans and Italians. The pecularity of this area is that there are many cemented / paved platforms built on the coastal line, That allows the possibility to rent apartments with private beach access and nobody around you (perfect at corona times!)

Savudrija is a great place to stay for people who do not like crowded placec, beaches and prefer a quieter place to stay. The beaches are around the whole "coast" so there is always some place with and without the sun. It is not far from Umag, so if you need a bigger city with "action" and events, you can just ride a bike there.

Super vacation with dog.
Super vacation with dog. The beach is rocky, beach shoes are recommended. There are many small bays, rocky, but with shade trees on the shore. Showers on the beach or in the campsites. Few restaurants that are very expensive.

On the seaside of Bassania you can find every type of beach: sand, pebbles and rocks. If you don't mind moving your car you should give a try to Kanegra.
Near the lighthouse there are two good restaurants just on the beach.
Taking your bike with you is a good idea since there are a lot of trails and country roads.

Savudrija is a small village visited mainly by campers on holiday. There are beaches and areas for recreation but it was a bit warm there this June for my taste, over 32 degrees. Then again I am used to much colder climates, so others may find this a pleasant temperature.
Special thanks goes to the stuff. They were helpful, friendly, polite and multilingual above expectation.
I appreciate the location: The hotel is fairly close to the sea, and near multiple reastaurants, cafés, little market and a gelato venue.
The room was fine, with a nice balcony.
Btw, this was the first time ever my kid or myself did *not* get sick from air condition during summer vacation. The thing was also fairly quiet. Yay!
It was a getaway improvisation when the season started so we were pretty lucky to find a spacious apartment with big terrace at a very affordable price, in a walkable distance from a very good beach (the closest one belongs to Kempinski but they don't really care if you use it, at least in the late afternoon). There is a restaurant right in the same building, with very friendly staff and great food
We loved the overall experience. The perfect location of the resort with all facilities practically on the beach, nice pine trees shade, restaurant on the beach. We really loved the room in 2nd floor and balcony with sea-side view, where we spent a lot of time. The staff is extremelly friendl and helpful, the food quite well. It is good price-performance value.
The staff were super friendly and accommodating to all of my needs, including preparing vegan breakfasts for me. The location was quite stunning and peaceful with a very local vibe. The rooms were perfect for one or two people. Very clean rooms and very comfortable beds. Oh and the sunset views near the hotel were stunning! Would definitely come back again!
skiper resort exceptional. pool lovely and beach area beautiful. everything so well kept and looked after. our room on ground floor was a little disappointing as no view and it was rather small and dark inside so would have preferred one on a higher floor and with a view but altogether the resort area fabulous.
The Adriatic apartment was splendid. There is a beautiful view of the sea and surroundings, and a great choice of hotel facilities, which we were able to enjoy free of charge. We especially made use of a large swimming pool with views of the sea. Thanks to the hosts for being helpful - we will surely be back!
Great location with a very helpful staff! If you're going to stay in the Umag area and what a great hotel with a tasty restaurant and helpful staff then STAY HERE! Rooms were clean and comfortable, view was beautiful looking over a harbor, and the breakfast was the perfect way to start the day!
Location is great, a hundred meters from the sea, which is for me extremely important as I spend 90% of my holiday time swimming in the Adriatic.
Breakfast was really good when it comes to the variety and quality of food and drinks, however I enjoy sitting, eating, drinking coffee outside.
As usually Kempinski offers maximum from high expectation of each guest. We mainly enjoyed amazing view and comfort the hotel staff and services can offer you. From well equipped gym to spa and swimming pool, private beach and evening dinner program.
Pricey. But worth of it. Very good location, clean, calm. Very polite and helpful stuff. It is a resort with small grocery, restaurant and beach bar. Beach is 5min walk down - uphill takes little longer... 😁
Loved the view, the apartment, the entire resort looks amazing. The apartment was so beautiful, even including a first floor with amazing views of the ocean and in the distance even the Alps were visible!
It is a really nice resort with an amazing view on the sea, across Slovenian cost and Dolomite mountains. The resort is very nice, tidy and beautiful to just relax, take a walk and chill.
Great value for the money. The beach is within short walking distance of the hotel. There was plenty of free parking close to the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Absolutely amazing experience. The staff is truly great, they all went beyond expextations. The hotel looks really nice, pools were great, private beach stunning.
