A Gem of Fashion
As the world’s largest diamond-cutting city, Antwerp (Anvers in French) is naturally affluent. It comes as no surprise then that fashion is also of utmost importance, so the shopping here is excellent. It may not be the cheapest place, but the quality certainly matches the price.
Another big business in Antwerp is the port, one of Europe’s largest. Take a cruise around to admire its scale. The Scheldt River leads from the port into the city, and on its banks are a handful of interesting museums and Het Steen, a medieval castle built to protect the city against Viking invasions.
A few streets back is the Grote Markt, a beautiful square flanked by the grand town hall and 16th-century guildhouses – a typically Belgian scene. Behind this is UNESCO World Heritage-listed Antwerp Cathedral, whose asymmetrical towers look down over Groenplaats, a tranquil square filled with pavement cafes. Belgian beer is legendary and the local brew is De Koninck, which packs quite a punch.
In the south of the city is the most unusual sight – Wilrijk’s huge Jain Temple, one of the largest outside India. A little further east is Antwerp Airport, efficiently connected by public transport to the Antwerp hotels, guest houses and apartments that are available on Booking.com.

If you're flying into Antwerp, I highly recommend paying a visit to a restaurant located approximately a 15-minute walk from the airport called "Jardin Public". From there, you can catch a tram to the Central Station. In my opinion, the highlights of the trip were definitely the Central Station and the Central Square. Getting around Antwerp is fairly easy, but you also have the option to rent bicycles or use electric scooters. For dinner, we opted for The Eleventh Commandment / Elfde Gebod and were impressed by the delicious food and speedy service. I would have loved to extend my stay if possible; perhaps a minimum of a 3-day trip would be ideal. On the return journey to the airport, I opted to take an Uber for convenience.

People from outside are not allowed in unless they check-in. Nice bar with very good beers and a pool & dart room with can be used as well as kitchen and garden. Parking is too expensive. The rooms do not have windows that you can open to ventilate the room. The ventilation does not work. The ventilation in the toilet also does not work. The sink is in the middle of the room. Various food smells come out through the ventilation. The room is cleaned every three days!! The only good thing is the location of the hotel.AAnonymous

In a convenient location where you could easily look or take a tram either towards the central station, shopping or historic city center. There was parking for cars and bicycles. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the central train station. This means it is a bit of a walk (ca. 10-20 minutes) to the old Town center where all the tourist attractions are. However, we appreciate that this hotel is clean and comfortable and the price is not more expensive than other hotels. It is basically a 'safe choice' for traveller's who just don't want any negative surprises and want a clean room and no fuzz.

Room has a good soundproof windows so we did not hear any noise from outside. Bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.
