Outstanding but very cold. We hit the Ice Festival, Zhaolin Park, St Sophia Church, the Cablecars, the Night festivities, Zhangyong Street Mall, the Siberian Tigers, and many other spots. Great to see so many Starbucks, the app makes it easy to order when English speaking staff.

It's a really easygoing city, with lots to do if you are curious to explore. The city center is obviously pretty and a mixture of architectural influences which is really nice for walking around. I enjoyed visiting the Siberian tigers park, really something special. If you stay long enough, you can also make it to Unit 731 for a bit of history. I really recommend spending a couple of hours to see the museum and the historic site.
Walking around in the city center, taking photos and stopping for snacks, ice cream or a Harbin beer is already in itself a cool activity to do.
It's an easy city to travel around but if you want to cross the river, you have to navigate the Chinese ways to commute (Didi, buses, shared bikes). One major problems : there are way too many cars in that place. Everywhere, even on sidewalks.

Great place to tick off the bucket list.
Great place to tick off the bucket list. Wonderful to see the city and all the sites covered in a blanket of snow. 3 days is probably enough in the city if you aren't going out to the ski resorts, however there is definitely more than meets the eye with this city!

It was cold but with layering you can manage.
It was cold but with layering you can manage. You can buy anything from shoes to coats in Beijing (Silk Market) for a fraction of what can be purchased in Australia and possibly better suited to the conditions. Would recommend you wait. We also had concerns about transportation and waiting for taxis etc. Shouldn't have worried taxis were abundant and hostel able to arrange transportation and entrance tickets to anything you need on arrival if at all concerned. We spent 3 days/nights and were able to see Snow and Ice, Sun Island, Tiger Park, 727 Museum and Zhoaling park and well as walk about the ice park on the river. Ate at local restuarants away from Central street, night markts and local street food. All good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The main purpose was to visit the snow carvings at Sun Island as well as the Ice sculptures. They were lit up when the sky grew dark. Truly breath-taking and memorable!
Chao Yang Street was also lit up.
The airport was under renovation and hopefully when we next visit, the experience would be much better upon arrival.
Somewhat surprised that after we boarded taxi, others could also share the ride! We still had to pay for the full fare even though taxi was shared.
Expect your taxi ride to be longer because of the constant traffic jam.

Very beautiful city, full of foreign influence.
Very beautiful city, full of foreign influence. This melange makes it so attractive to the eye. You get lots of art neauveau and art deco architecture, Russian influence with St Sophia church (now under renovation, unfortunately nothing much remained from the original decor of the place inside), Zhongyang and Gogol Streets with their beautifully restored buildings on both sides, the Zhaolin Park with its ice sculptures (to be visited in the evening when they are lit up - all of it for free). There is also Sun and Ice Festival on Sun Island (you can get there in a cable car 80 rmb both ways, or simply cross the frozen river if you have more time) where you can see snow statues sometimes as big as a 6-storey building - 260 rmb. Some go to the tiger park - I haven't done that. Since you have to eat, I'd recommend a Russian restaurant out there. Myself I went to a historical place called Tatoc in Zhongyang, good food, stylish. What's not to like? Just dress yourself for the occession - a ski mask and feet warmers if going there in winter.

Hotel front desk and rooms are located on a second floor of the building. No elevator, so you have to pull luggage by yourself (thanks to transfer driver, he helped me with mine). Also got a bottle of water at front desk.
Free transfer from/to airport.
The Location is what makes this hotel super appealing. It's right around the corner from the pedestrian street and even after only having been to the hotel once finding it again late in the evening after a few drinks was easy. The rooms though small looked modern and were well maintained. The front desk staff was nice and helped when we asked where to go get the nucleic acid tests we needed in order to board our flight.
The staff were very friendly and helpful! The beds were comfortable and I was able to cool the room down, by opening the window! The hotel was close to all the sites I wanted to see in my 2 days here. They even worked it out with us to keep 1 room until 5pm, so we could have a place to rest before heading to the airport at 5pm, for a small fee.
The property was very classy and the staff was super helpful. The breakfast was delicious! Every morning they have a new special they bring to the tables for guests to try. We would wake up earlier to fully enjoy breakfast! The tub was luxurious too. And the rooms weren’t too hot, our friends at other hotels complained their rooms were too hot.
Very good location, close to the City.
The staff was very friendly and supportive. For example the Concierge Bruce organized to get a PCR Test for us without needed to go to public hospital. Also if we had any requests, the team and management from the hotel was always supportive and tried to help immediately. Thank you!
Good location close to the subway and not far from harbin main railway station and just few minutes walk from a big shopping center
Staff was nice but communication difficult ( no English)
The shower was ok hot water was working
Book through booking.com and paid on arrival.
Picked up at airport and dropped us off at airport the next day.
So far so good and suitable for customer who look for a layover hotel to catch early flight the next day.
Location was great, stuff pretty friendly. Hotel charged money from credit card first, but we had been planning to pay cash. And they returned everything back in a moment. That was so helpful!
This hotel is on the bank of the Songwa river, which is an excellent location to explore Harbin. Nice facilities and friendly staff make staying here a very pleasant experience.
Helpful staff despite the language barrier. In a very random location not close to the city at all but perfect for someone who needs to be close to the airport.
The hotel is modern and stylish, the location good for getting to the Ice & Snow Festival or the old town. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive.
