Vinci is special. The Leonardo da Vinci museums are extremely interesting and also the villa where he was born. The town is charming with ancient villas, and fabulous vistas. The people are really nice, friendly and helpful. Also there are wonderful restaurants.

I love this town.
I love this town. Rural enough to be off the beaten path with easy access by car (or bus) to Florence and Pisa. We loved the area. Wine and food abound. Seriously. Go to La Becherria for a great meal (or anywhere, really) and be sure to get some wine tasting in at the little spot at the corner. Read about Peter Dent and Da Vinci's horse and enjoy the trails between the olive trees and vinyards.

I have always been a huge Leonardo fan and visiting Vinci has long been on my bucket list. But on previous trips to Italy I had not been able to work it out. This time I made it a priority and I was not disappointed. Anyone who is an admirer of Leonardo's genius needs to see this town, the museums dedicated to him, the home he was born in and the museum dedicated to his artwork. The town itself is quaint and the people who live there are friendly and helpful. There are a number of good restaurants, including the one at the Leonardo museum. I highly recommend this place.

I'm writing about Leonardo, so I wanted to soak up as much of his energy as possible for inspiration. I spent a long time at his birth house in Anchiano. You can call for a shuttle from the Tourist office to take you and pick you up. Franco drove me there and picked up at the exact time I requested. The museums are wonderful and diverse!

As birthplace of one of the most influential historical...
As birthplace of one of the most influential historical personalities Leonardo da Vinci it is worth to be seen. The small town (still) is a very quiet place. We think that the museum seems to be very superficial. It does not lead you into the times when Leonardo was born, nor does it show any of his - maybe first - writings or sketches.
However it was nice to stay at the square of the museum and having a morning coffee in the bar in the house.
The welcome from Filomena and Madelief was wonderful. There is a beautiful shared space where you can find herbs and spices, but also really good wine. If you have any questions during your stay, they are readily available and willing to help you.
The house itself was nice and clean and had all the necessary amenities.
The location is very convenient. You can take a train from Empoli to get to Firenze in under 30 minutes, and the surrounding area of Vinci is beautiful to drive through.
All in all: would highly recommend staying here!
A traditional first-floor apartment with a fully equipped kitchenette, including coffee, microwave, and refrigerator. The spacious sleeping room, while warm, might not be warm enough for our preferences. Welcoming hoHowever, the terrace offers a superb scenic view. The apartment is located next to Leonardo Da Vinci's birthplace, allowing you to catch a glimpse of the house from the terrace. It's just an hour's drive from Florence, passing through the beautiful landscape of vineyards and olive groves.
The house and hospitality by the host family set new standards. We have been welcomed with a bottle of local wine and received many other home made surprises during our stay. The terraces for your happy hour offer a view over Tuscany and so does the house itself. It is the perfect place for remote work thanks to impeccable WIFI and ideally located for easy trips to Florence, Pisa, Siena, Lucca and other cities not to miss. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place.
The property is gorgeous and easily-accessible from Florence. It’s a great location to stay somewhere a bit away from everything, but also be able to drive easily to Florence, Lucca, Pisa, San Gimignano, and other locations in the northern half of Tuscany. The property matches the pictures, and the breakfast in the morning was delicious, with the option for fresh cooked eggs. The restaurant recommendations for dinner were excellent.
The location was great. It was easy to find. It was in a good area to travel to other cities in Tuscany such as Florence, Pisa, or Sienna. The scenery around was beautiful as well. The agritourism is well maintained by the staff. The staff was friendly and caring. The pool was perfect to relax in. Plus the wine and olive oil on site was wonderful.
We planned touring Tuscany by car and this was a very good location for Florence, Sienna, San Gimignano, Lucca, Pisa and as far south as Cortona. It's an old working winery and their wins are very nice - well stocked and reasonably priced mini-bar! The staff are very good and great chats at breakfast before heading off into the countryside.
One of the loveliest places I've ever stayed at. Tucked away in the Tuscanny countryside just outside of Vinci, it's super cozy, beautiful views, great amenities, and Niccolo was very accomodating and helpful. Check in was easy, and they even gave me a bottle of wine. Will definitely be back, hopefully sooner than later! Grazie
Amazing view into the Toscane landscape! The hotel also has a restaurant with exceptional food and view to the sunset. On the same place the breakfast is served.
The swimming pool is well located with chairs and umbrella.
Room is clean, comfortable, safe and with good Wi-Fi connection and air conditioner.
It was a fantastic stay and wonderful setting! Very relaxing and the hostess was very lovely. Vinci is 5 minutes by car and a cute town, but the property is so lovely we didn't even want to leave. In fact, the only downside was that we had to leave for meals!
Beautiful place. had wine and watched sunset in Tuscany. Met owner, He is a very lovely man. He joined us when we were having dinner. We spoke in Italian for around 15 minutes, however I don’t speak Italian. It was a very good experience 🙌🏻
Location is charmant in a small villagge with many olive trees.
Villaggi is in Vinci municipality, Leonardo da Vinci house is around 2 km distance.
Owner is very friendly and helpfull with many info.
The owner is extremely nice and helpful. We arrived late and there was no problem with that. Good wines and olive oil of their own production. The apartment was large and very clean.
