Probably worst place I’ve stayed, facilities weren’t great. The pool was lovely but it shut between 1:30pm and 3pm for some reason, which is prime time. Bathroom was so old and smelt funny, and mattresses were uncomfortable. The staff were lovely. But the hotel let it down, the breakfast was also awful and for how much we spent, didn’t warrant the stay. I’m sad to write a bad review, as I never take the time to do this, but felt like I should give future travellers warning to not waste their money unfortunately.

The property is absolutely stunning with several charming courtyards with old trees and flowers, a breathtaking view of the mountain panorama from the room, and beautiful ornamental gardens all around that give of the feeling of being in a wealthy country villa of the 18th century, complete with a rustic tower on a hill above. There was a shaded parking and an olympic size swimming pool, a lovely breakfast terrace with a seaview, and most importantly incredibly kind an helpful staff that made my son's and my stay unforgettable. We arrived late after midnight and were graciously received despite being three hours late, and the wonderful Paola assisted us in reserving sun loungers and parasols at the beautiful Lido Vetrana which are complimentary for guests of the hotel and make for a relaxing beach day and swimming in the clear blue water. We will definitely come back.

The main reason for staying here is probably because it is so close to the train station….. a few metres. About 40 minutes to Palermo…. Great for a day trip…… Low season , so Leon allowed us to check in early and gave advice about parking. Parking in the ( sometimes very busy) street or in the small car park beside the station. Good minimarket just up the street and to the left .

The owners were fantastic. Welcoming, kind, and couldn't have made me feel more at home. Delicious home cooked dinners every night. It was the loveliest place I stayed the whole holiday. I have promised to go back.

Great location in he middle of San Nicola. Caterina has been very kind and provided us with breakfast vouchers for a cafe close by.

Nice apartment with a terrace and sea view. Friendly host, with a good stock of breakfast items and small kitchen area. Good bathroom, everything clean, comfortable bed. I would thoroughly recommend it.

Very clean and comfortable. Salvatore was always willing to help. Not the greatest of views but still very close to the beach. Great value for money.
