You feel here like a part of the village with all positives and negatives. We really appretiate positive attitude of Fausto and his (and his wife) invitation. The house is fully equiped by everything you would need for your stay. The place is perfect for walking into the mountains. During July, when at coast was approximately 33-35 C during a day, in Pascoso was approximately 5 grades lower temperature. Evenings are not hot but not cold in July. When you want visit Lucca (highly recommended), it takes approx. 45 minutes by car to get there. The coast is approx. 1,15 hour from the place - good to get there once or twice during your stay to mix it with visiting of other places (Lucca, Pisa etc.).

Villa Volpi has a peaceful hilltop location and a swimming pool with sun terrace offering panoramic views across the Tuscan countryside. The town of Lucca is a 15-minute drive away.

Beautiful location and setting, beautiful hotel. Stunning views. The infinity pool was lovely, on top of the hotel so has gorgeous views. The hotel is also not too far from other towns and got nice walks around. I can definitely recommend

The location was excellent, right in town, with a great view right over the piazza. It wasn't noisy at all, though, as the windows isolated the sound. We didn't have breakfast there, but it looked nice. Room was small but beautifully and intelligently decorated, and AC was appreciated. Would definitely stay again.

The room is rather simple, but the surrounding in mountains among local people is nice. Though the staff does not speak fluent English, it would do whatever you wish to make you happy! And the local pizzeria in hotel is great!

You either like it or hate it. We were unlucky to be there in a pretty bed weather, cold weather front with torrential rain instead of a nice and warm Easter weekend. Yet, the guys living and working there made it unforgettable. I will definitely come back!

The location is wonderful. The B&B is 20 minutes by car from the center of Lucca and the train station. You can enjoy the peace and the sounds of nature. When you come back from a day trip, the room is tidy and clean. The owners of the B&B are kind, responsive and ready to solve problems, tell and recommend what to see and enjoy in the immediate area. On the main road, there is a parking space for the residents of each room. It's not a breakfast you can expect in Germany, France or the UK, for example.
