There are lovely beaches, loads of towns to visit and the food and wine are excellent and very good value. The only downside is the litter problem. There is litter everywhere and it is unsightly and a real shame. I hope they get that sorted out.

We stayed in a residence place which is a quarter of an hour from the city of Corigliano Calabro. the food depend on where and what you eat. The roads were in a satisfactory condition but only in Italian. So if you get lost or you don't understand the rules don't be surprised to pay a painful price.

We were a large group, they kept 2 rooms empty to avoid any discomfort to guests not part of the group. Incredible home made breakfast, lovely terrace. Very good restaurant 50 meters from hotel. The house itself is very well maintained, a bit outdated but very nicely decorated.
