Everything was more than perfect. All through my journey to ABC trekking, people I met were beautiful. It was quite safe and joyful to walk alone.
Momo, Spaghetti, grilled chicken, salad at Smoking Yak were truly delicious.

My three-day adventure in Pokhara, Nepal, in December was nothing short of spectacular. The breathtaking views of the majestic Himalayas left me in awe, creating a picturesque backdrop for my unforgettable journey. Engaging in thrilling activities such as paragliding, river rafting and zip-lining added an adrenaline rush to the experience, although the latter came at a hefty price. The zip line, while an exhilarating adventure, proved to be a splurge that might give budget-conscious travelers pause.
Beyond the adventures, Pokhara's culinary delights and vibrant nightlife truly enhanced my stay. The local cuisine was a delightful exploration of flavors, and the variety of dining options catered to diverse tastes. As night fell, the city came alive with a lively atmosphere, offering a diverse range of entertainment and socializing opportunities. Overall, my time in Pokhara was a perfect blend of natural beauty, thrilling activities, delectable cuisine, and vibrant nightlife, making it a destination I would eagerly recommend to fellow travelers seeking a memorable and multifaceted experience.

Just staying in Pokhara without any activities could be boring. Also good place for getting rest in quiet place.

I really like Pokhara.
I really like Pokhara. Much cleaner and less congested than Kathmandu. Quite a lot to see and do, plenty of restaurants and shopping if that's your thing. Lakeside is very popular, as is the Annapurna Cable Car up to Sarangot - well worth it. Cheaper to eat and shop out of the main Lakeside, but generally prices less expensive than Thamel and people are genuinely friendly. I found a great little cafe in Sedi - Hill View. Very reasonable prices...coffee 60 rupees, and apple pancakes really delicious. You and I cafe and bookshop also does great food cooked to order, as does the Silk Road whete there's also evening entertainment. Plenty of taxis available, but the main shopping area is one very long street.
We stayed at Hotel Middle Path & Spa before as well as after our trekking tour in Nepal. The hotel is conveniently located in Pokhara’s lakeside district in a side street off the main road in walking distance to the lake. Many cafés and restaurant options in the immediate vicinity as well as an on-site restaurant. We particularly enjoyed the lush garden area by the pool. The spa offering was a plus upon our return from trekking. Pre-booking of a spa appointment via booking.com chat went smoothly. Friendly and caring hotel staff.
Portland has our heart for being situated in one of the most prime locations in Pokhara by the lakeside. Shopping streets and restaurants that serve the best local cuisine is just a walk away from Portland. Owner Keshab, Manager Ravi, kitchen and house keeping staff were extremely prompt in addressing to our queries. The breakfast spread at the hotel could have been better. Tip while booking is to request for the lake view room at the 5th floor which also gives you the view to the Annapurna mountain range.
--the hotel is centrally located near the lake in the touristic part of Pokhara .. its location is only a 2 min walk away from Lakeside Road .. a quiet place .. I stayed at room #402 .. my room was definitely fine .. facing the major mountains here .. during my stay, I was apparently the only guest .. air condition/heating was working well - so was the hot shower .. breakfast was good (fried egg, butter, red jam, 2 pieces of toast, tea or coffee) ..
Located in a quiet peaceful area yet just a few minutes walk from the main Lakeside area. Super clean with spacious rooms and bathrooms. Wi-Fi was stable compared to other places. Airconditions worked perfectly and super hot shower. It's a small hotel with complete facilities. The only thing missing was an elevator which I guess is not a big issue for a hotel of this size. Highly recommended for small groups and families.
My stay at the Hotel Tulsi was a truly enchanting experience. The breathtaking lake views from the rooftop, the impeccable service from the warm and attentive staff, and the relaxing atmosphere created by the hotel's luxurious amenities made it a haven of tranquility and unrivaled hospitality. It's a place I highly recommend to anyone seeking a perfect escape and an unforgettable Pokhara lakeside experience.
The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet street, but at walking distance from the lakeside, with many restaurants around and less than 5 minutes from the lake. The facilities were simple, but clean, the room was big, the bed was comfy, the WiFi worked well and the bathroom was clean. The staff was nice and they can arrange transportation and some tours.
I truely love this nepali traditional style hotel in pokhara . We stayed here for three nights but had one night booking . was just 10 minutes walking from the lakeside center .Bimal the owner is so helpful free informition for day hike to stupa water fall and round the methlang village to lake great stay in pokhara in peaceful place .
Hotel Blossom is a lovely hotel with a warm, friendly family vibe. Excellent location in Lakeside near all the shops, restaurants, etc. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Blossom is very clean and with the best hot showers probably in all of Nepal! The cafe downstairs is the cutest and the coffee and cheesecake is amazing.
Couldn’t ask for anything more from a stay in Pokhara. Staff are incredibly helpful, rooms are clean and have everything you need (Towel, toilet roll ect) views from the rooms are great and all for a great price. Hotel Harmony was good enough for us to return 3 times throughout our time in Nepal.
The hotel is super cute and the higher rooms have a great sea view! Staff is friendly and helpful with everything. We really loved walking up with the view of the lake. The room was clean for Nepali standards :). I would definitely stay here again. For this price it is great.
I highly recommend this luxurious hotel, situated in a quiet location a short lakeside walk from the beautiful Fewa Lake, and would definitely stay there always while being at Pokhara. Friendliness, Professional and Excellent Peace Environment were the best during my stay.
Best located hotel in lakeside, just close to the lake excellent lake view and fish tail Mountain View from hotel . The staffs are so kind and helpful with good knowledgeable all information about pokhara and hiking to the hill side beside the pokhara . I like the hotel
It’s a beautiful location with the unique experience of waking up to the glorious Annapurna mountain range. It’s located closely to the cable car so it is fairly easy to get to Pokhara lakeside but definitely also worth it to just stay at the hotel for a relaxing time.
Great room and bathroom. The staff were very helpful and nice always welcoming. Located 2 mins walk from the main shops and restaurants street in Lakeside Pokhara and 5mins walk to the lake.
Highly recommended select this hotel for your stay in Pokhara.
Nice new family-run hotel, situated behind beautiful, carefully bred garden. Rooms are spacious and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Ideally situated outside noisy main streets of Pokhara, but close enough the city center and lakeside.
Excellent location: near the lakeside, with a beautiful garden on the property, the owner is amiable and helpful, he helped me with information and booking regarding the exploration of Pokhara and travel plan afterward.
A nice family-run hotel with a comfortable garden/terrace just 5 minutes walk from the main Street of Pokhara lakeside. The manager is a nice guy and also active in social work due to his brothers blindness.
