The property is looking tired. There was a dull smell in our room. Not sure if it was from the very noisy air con. The breakfast was the usual fast food type American breakfast.

Broughton Street offered lots of quaint shops to look through. There are lots of different cuisines as well. Walking on River Street was really nice. There were quite a few places to eat on River Street, but not lots of shopping. Broughton Street offered more for shopping, but both areas made for nice walks. The two favorite places to eat were The Pirate House and The Common (more upscale and $$). The BEST was the mixology class we took in a Speakeasy! There were quite a few homeless in both areas, but that usually comes with a larger city, just be prepared.

We enjoyed the historic buildings.
We enjoyed the historic buildings. Lots of options for restaurants and we found most to be affordable. Be prepared to walk, you really don't need a car while there. We took the land and sea tour which provided a lot of information and history of the town. We also did a walking ghost tour which also provided history. If you haven't read Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil it is a nice one to read after you have visited the city and recognize all of the places mentioned. This would especially be fun with a group of ladies because there is a lot of shopping on Broughton St. that we didn't do because my husband is not a shopper. Make sure to visit Wormsloe Historic Site while you are there.

Savannah has a lot of wonderful history and culture.
Savannah has a lot of wonderful history and culture. We took a haunted tour (very corny but still a lot of history) I enjoyed the tour guides and found their stories very entertaining . We took a ride out to Tybee Island and spent some time on the beach. Tybee needs to rethink its parking for beach goers but overall I look forward to my next visit. We stopped at an IHOP for breakfast which was horrible from the time we walked in the door. Slow seating, extra slow service, and got my order complete wrong. For dinner we went to a Greek Restaurant, Olympia Cafe on River Street which was wonderful. Great service and the food was outstanding.

The city, food, parks and shopping is beautiful.
The city, food, parks and shopping is beautiful. The city is so clean and the landscaping in all the parks is just so lush and beautiful. So much history! Parking is not necessarily hard to come by but you do need to pay to park everywhere - not expensive but still something to consider when heading out. Very walkable for the right age group or for those without hinderances. Some of the restaurants we ate at were a.Lure, B. Matthews, Corleone's, Sundae Cafe on Tybee Island - all excellent and would definitely go back. The City Market is an excellent area - great shopping and restaurants. I wouldn't necessarily say that this is somewhere that I would bring children as there doesn't seem to be a lot for them to do but for young couples without children on up to seniors that are mobile, this will make for a wonderful trip. We were there for 4 full days and we were able to see everything on our lists.

The City has so much History.
The City has so much History. The Trolleys , has the On & Off stops for travelers , getting around the city convenient, and great for shopping . Walking to shops , restaurants to sit in the parks, in the River Front area..
A Beautiful City .
The staffs were really great! They helped me with an earlier check-in so I could have extra time to let everything ready and go enjoy Savannah. They were also very friendly and polite. The cost-benefit of this place is great because the hotel is just 10 minutes far from downtown and the bars. I didn't wake up early enough for the breakfast but there was coffee available the whole day. The bedroom was comfortable and clean, and the shower is amazing!! I would recommend this always
Perfect location. It felt like we were at home with how cozy it was. Our group was able to easily and quickly get anywhere in downtown Savannah by walking. Also, parking at the Whitaker street garage worked out great and was much cheaper than any hotel nearby. Not only were the bathrooms full of everything you needed but the washer and dryer were stocked as well. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen was updated and had everything you needed.
Located near the waterfront and a pretty park in the historic district. Breakfast was okay. The water pressure in the bathroom was poor but the water was nice and hot. Room was clean and nicely decorated. The hotel parking was very expensive so we used a public parking garage that was right across the street. It only cost us $7 vs $45 plus would have had to tip the valet twice.
Excellent location in the centre of Savannah . We arrived by car and parked just round the corner in a car park which was very reasonable.
The hotel offers some evening entertainment for an hour which was very welcome. We listened to a very good harpist.
It was nice to have breakfast served rather than help yourself.
Location was exceptional, being on the river and in the heart of historic downtown. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel room itself was nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The hotel's decor does a nice job of acknowledging its historic roots in a modernized/renovated hotel.
Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had good variety and value. Many hotels are no longer including continental breakfast, so this was a welcome change. The location was convenient for me to drive to the Savannah Convention Center without dealing with downtown hotel parking.
Probably our favorite parts of staying at this hotel , Kimpton Brice, were:
1. The courtyard (secret garden)
2. that it is pet friendly
3. friendly and helpful staff
4. the restaurant in the hotel
5. great location in Savannah with nearby sites and restaurants
The location was amazing. You can walk pretty much anywhere downtown. The price was the lowest in the area so that was a plus and the staff was so helpful and friendly. Besides the location, they may have been the best part of the stay.
Very good what you got for the price. Within walking distance to historic downtown Savannah. Very nice rooms with some extras like cookies and Coke provided in the room. The morning Donuts are the best I ever had in my life!
The history of the hotel is highlighted very well throughout the entire building. I stayed in 402, Joel's room and absolutely loved it! The location is perfect to walk downtown and experience Savannah,
The hotel is very new and well taken care of. Really good breakfast and location!
20 minutes and you are in downtown Savannah!
Also good restaurants around within walking distance.
Location. Easy drive to downtown Savannah. Enjoyed the old architecture inside hotel. The older looking lights were cool. Metal work on the rails was ornate and enjoyed
Amazing location in downtown Savannah. Located near tons of restaurants, sites and things to do. Everything was walkable and hotel was cute and room was super clean.
Clean and easy to access. Almost free parking on the street behind hotel. I wish all the Savannah hotels didn’t conspire to charge $75 for a pet for one night!
We ate at Atrium bar food was good. We ate out mostly to experience Savannah downtown. The hop on hop off trolley stop 9 is 2 blocks from hotel very good value
