The breakfast was very good.
The location was on the south of the island and you needed a car to explore.
It took a long time to get to various places because of the location, so best if you just want to relax in Katelios only.
The swimming pool was excellent, and with only five rooms there was plenty of space for all guests.

Slightly late writing this review! We stayed for 4 nights in August and were worried it may be really busy as it was the school holidays (not a time we would normally choose to travel as our children are grown up now!), but we needn't have done, the pool was quiet every afternoon and the sunbeds were very comfy (pool towels are provided). Sophia was so nice, declaring 'wine time' each afternoon and just generally being really lovely! The rooms were very comfy and large, with toiletries included, and a little fridge. There's a little balcony where you could watch the sunrise. It's a 10 - 15 min walk to the restaurants on the seafront, although there were also a few a bit nearer. It's a great location for exploring the eastern side of Kefalonia, and we found some lovely little secluded bays each day to escape the busy areas! All in all we loved it here, and would definitely recommend the apartments.

The upgraded room was spacious and very clean. Good powerful shower and a very comfortable bed. The pool area was beautifully clean and had plenty of sunbeds for the guests. Only 10 minute walk to plenty of local tavernas.
Presented with a gift on check out which was very thoughtful and was excellent quality.

Set in a quiet location, with excellent views, but with "easy" walking to Beach and Taverna's. Well equipped "Home from home" spacious accommodation , 2 bathrooms, excellent outside sitting and eating areas. Private sunbathing areas with sun loungers, jacuzzi and shaded parking. Really friendly family owners met on first and last day!

Katelios is a very quiet, relaxed and friendly place. The swimming is safe and there are sunbeds and beach umbrellas. There are a number of restaurants along the sea front so you are spoilt for choice - one for each day of the week! Would highly recommend it.

A very peaceful location close to the town of Katelios where there are many bars and restaurants.
The Hotel only has five rooms so plenty of space for everyone around the large pool.
This is perfect for a relaxing holiday however if you want to travel around the island it is best to hire a car.
Because of the location journey times to other towns were quite long ie it would take 2 hours to get to Fiskado in the north of the island

Katelios is a small fishing village.
Katelios is a small fishing village. We got a taxi from the airport to our accommodation for 50 Euro. There are a couple of small supermarkets, and plenty of restaurants and bars. We had previously stayed in katelios, but our accomodation was a long walk to the beach. This year we stayed in The Medusa, which is just a few steps to the beach and restaurants. If you want somewhere quiet to relax and unwind Katelios would be ideal. If you want the shops there is a bus at 11am to Skala, it returns at 16.00pm. Over the two years we have stayed in Katelios we have found all the restaurants have served good food and very friendly.

Love the resort and being so close to the beach.
Love the resort and being so close to the beach. The taxi journey can be a bit hair raising! Friendly people and everything is very compact so not a lot of walking needed. Every taverna serves delicious food and I can't fault any of them.

Nice small village, right on the sea, nice choice of restaurants, good food. nice as a base to see other areas on southern part of Island and nice to be there for the evenings and to relax and walk to restaurants and bars. Great to sit in restaurants next to the beach/sea to eat at night, very relaxed atmosphere , nice staff in all restaurants we visited. Our small hotel was lovely and we enjoyed swimming in the sea each day after our travels and before breakfast. Busy enough but not crowded. All in all lovely relaxing break.
Quiet and charming property within easy walking distance of local restaurants and shops in Katelios. Garden was lovely and had plenty of furniture and shade. Excellent taverna next door - noise was not an issue though. Loved being able to stroll along a short track to Aghia Barbara Beach. The key was in the door when we arrived and we replaced it when we left, but Angela was easily contacted by text and the apartment was lovely and clean, and bins were emptied daily while we were out and about. Would certainly stay again.
It is a very nice place to stay. The hotel is very well maintained and clean. The bed was very confortable. The room was spacious and well equiped. Chris, the owner, was a very nice host - very kind, helpful and professional. I recommend this hotel if you visit Kefalonia. And even Katelios is indeed a bit far from the main attractions on the island, we really enjoyed our rides to various places. For us, Aligis will certainly be a an option on our next visit to this beautiful island
Lots of lovely little personal touches. Immaculately clean. Beautifully spacious. Beds really comfortable. Everything and all equipment and fittings of a very high standard. Excellent communication with the owner Katerina. Very quiet and peaceful location with stunning mountain views, you can even see the sea. Loved everything about this studio and we have travelled around Kefalonia extensively over the years.
The best location in Katelios, just a stone's throw from the water edge opposite tavernas and yet it wasn't noisy at all! We loved our quirky, spacious, clean Studio at Medusa! It had everything we needed and more. There were thoughtful welcome gifts on our arrival, the much needed air con was efficient and our room was serviced daily. A great find!
Friendly stuff. Facilities above average and for sure value for the money. Location very good specially if you don't want to drive all day, because the beach near the hotel is blue flaged and there are a lot of choices to eat around in 1 km distance. More quite than the overcrowded touristic Skala. We strongly recommend it.
It’s location is great - a stone’s throw to the beach. The studio apartment was cleaned daily and in a great central location to Katelios with a lovely little balcony to sit out on. A modern air con system too!
The apartment has easy road-side parking and is close to all amenities at Katelios.
Loved the location, 10min walk to the beach, the apartment is lovely and has a great patio and grassy area with a view of the mountain. They have installed dark shutters and have air con and kitchen with utensils.
Panagis was lovely and certainly sent loads of suggestions to us on arrival : )
The property was in a stunning location and was immaculately clean. It was ideally placed on the edge of Katelios with a two minute walk to the tavernas, shops and beach. The swimming pool and terrace were beautiful.
Liked everything about this hotel. Location, room, cleanliness, staff, breakfast etc. All exceeded expectations. The pool was fabulous and overall general atmosphere of the place was very tranquil and relaxing.
Beautiful and calm location in the southern part of Kefalonia with sea and mountain view. Cozy rooms with good breakfast and huge parking space. Kostas is a great host and is always ready to help his guests.
The great facility at perfect location. Everything is new, clean, nice and so spaceious. Kids loved swiming pool, the beach (left from the facility) is one of the best at Kefalonia.
Beautiful Boutique hotel, very clean, good bed & shower. Helpful and very friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent. Also Alexis cocktail bar is a great!
