The MOST memorable stay of my trip in Thailand!! The couple that runs this guesthouse are the sweetest people ever. They treat you as their family and you really experience the local lifestyle.
“Oup” (male owner) build the whole house himself and it took him 7 years: he added so much love, character and details in this place 👌 He is also a jewelry-and woodwork artist and he likes to involves others in his work. Oup made beautiful jewelry for me and learned me how to make jewelry.
His wife “Me” is a lovely women, always smiling and bringing good vibes. She loves to cook and invited me to join for meals and cooking together, which was amazing! There are also 2 cute cats part of the family.
At the moment there’s a problem with the water system, so you shower with a bowl water from a bucket (oldschool local style). For me this was not a problem and it added something to the whole experience.
If you need to get something arranged like a scooter, island trips etc. than Oup is there to help you with everything needed.
Thank you again Oup & Me for this wonderful experience. I will never forget this and I hope to be back once again ✨

Overall the island is really lovely. It isn't as crowded and just a really good place to calm down. The only thing we didn't like was that you couldn't really swim cause the water was crowded with jellyfish and every time we tried to go in in left with a bunch of stings.

The island is very easy to get to.
Very serene and calm and a relaxing holiday escape. The island has everything you need
We mostly stayed near our accommodation but you can rent bikes/scooters/sidecars from almost anywhere. There is a local taxi service that can take you around the place also.
Bring cash. Th island has limited ATMs and most places only accept cash.

This is a lovely little island with a full range of accommodation choices and loads of wildlife to see. The bathing is difficult only because at low tide it is muddy and rocky on most beaches. Just pick high tide to swim. Lovely people. Cycling is a very good way to get round.

Very calm, peaceful and relaxing!
Very calm, peaceful and relaxing! If you want to get away from society, noise, civilization and tourists, this is your place! Beaches are not the best but they are clean and empty. The most exciting thing to do in this Island is kayaking to Nok Island (30min) and once you arrive hike the trial to the top for the amazing view! One of the best we had in our whole trip in Thailand. Also, renting a scooter and discovering the island by motorbike, stopping in each beach. So safe and relaxed. I recommend to stop by Stella's restaurant for eating o for a smoothie, super home made food and good price and views by the beach. For sunset, either Sunset bar or Hiddenout beach. Perfect place for getting away from noise but not if you want to party and meet people.

The island overall is not very built up and seems a bit rural when driving through. However there are very nice restaurants, cafes and bars to go to. We rented a scooter and drove almost around the entire island which was a very cool experience.
We were slightly dissapointed though with the beaches which we were partly to blame for as we did not research before. The tide was far out for most of the day so we didn't get a chance to swim in the sea. The beaches are all very rocky as well so even when the tide comes in I'm not sure if we could've swum.

This is a quiet and undeveloped island - so if that is what you are after it is great. I enjoyed getting on a bike and exploring the different parts of the island: remote beaches, local villages, paddy fields, plants, trees and wildlife. There are a few hills that you need to tackle but this was part of the healthy enjoyment of the island. At high tide I walked over to the small island in Tha Khao beach and swam in the sea, lay on the beach and watched the Brahminy kites - most days I was the only person there. There are some other remote beaches on the North East coast that you can hike/bike/scooter to. The best lunch spot was Chaba Cafe which has a shabby chic vibe, really good local food and serves a good macchiato. I had a few dinners at the Sook restaurant at the Suntisook resort which again had some really tasty Thai food.
I found that you need cash everywhere on the island so you need to plan to bring enough THB. There are a lot of ATMs but they either run out of cash, are out of service and on top of that charge a lot to do FX i.e. flat fee + 5%.
We had a wonderful stay in Annie’s garden paradise. The bungalows are very spacious and sparkling clean. We loved the vast balcony, where we had the delicious breakfast that Annie left at our door handle every morning. She even offered to pick us up at the pier upon arrival, dropped us for a lamp festival and helped us organise a boat trip to the magnificent islands surrounding Ko Yao Noi.
The restaurant next door offers delicious food and it’s a five minute walk to a sunset bar (the bungalows themselves do not have a beach view).
OMG, what is not to love about this hidden gem on a fairly remote Island! To the view from the ride over, from the beach, from the room. This plane was like stepping into a brochure ad for Paradise. Clean facilities, amazing staff, great food and drinks. Hammocks, beach chairs, poolside chairs, pool waterfall. I utilized the Spa services and was very happy with my experience. They had a bonfire evening with hors d'oeuvres and cocktails. Your first one was free! I would give 20 star rating if I could.
Kho Bay View was like a paradise! The bungalows make you feel like you’re in the jungle with the most incredible views of the bay. Hornbills fly over in the morning and evening - couldn’t recommend this place more!
The owners are delightful, helpful and generous. So good we stayed another night and they are fantastic chefs - best food we’ve had in Thailand so far :)
They provided mopeds, kayaks and bikes if needed!
Family run, quiet and beautiful island, what more do you want.
Highly recommend Cape Kudo. Fabulous buffet breakfast and food to order, caters for all tastes. Antoine recommended the 4 island longboat trip, was amazing. Avoided the massive crowds that flock to James Bond and Phi Phi. Snorkeled, swam and saw monkeys. Hired mopeds, one with a side car. Great way to explore the island and lots of fun. The spa was fully booked but there was Thai massage available 100 metres from the hotel that was clean and well priced.
Perfect quiet and relaxing hotel to stay in Koh Yao Noi, just in front of the sea. The lovely wooden bungalow is spacious, cleaned everyday, fully equiped, it includes a very nice terrace with a great hamac, comfortable benches and a fan. The view is crazy, don't miss the wonderful sunrise. The breakfast is complete, fresh and delicious. The hotel has its own restaurant, the food there is delicious. Staff is nice and helpful. We feel like in paradise!
sincere, enjoyable, safe, island life, chill and ideal. my expectations were low and my bungalow blew them away. great value, nice compound. simple yet wonderful. a six minute walk to one of the best, least traveled beaches on the island. plus koh yai noi is easily one of the safest, least dangerous places in thailand. except for the sunburn!! highly recommend. great deal for my stay and autonomy. now i am in a gritty city it seems like a dream.
Beautifully situated in the west of the island, this is a great boutique hotel. Rooms are comfortable and outside spaces relaxing. It has amazing views from the hilltop villas and a shared sunset spot for all guests. The family and staff are very friendly and were helpful in arranging trips to beaches and across the island. As it is run by women, single women travelers would feel safe here. Fellow travelers were mostly couples.
Pool was beautiful to swim in overlooking the beach. Hotel is in a nice, quiet location right on the sea. The room was spotless on arrival. Although all the facilities (pool bar, bathroom etc) were very basic the resort provided ample accommodation for two nights of needed rest and relaxation. We even got our laundry done by the hotel!
We also rented a scooter again from the hotel and toured the island which we loved.
The gardens were lovely, well kept and everything was clean and calm. We easily rented a scooter from Najjamee and spent the days exploring around the island, the bungalows are in a good location, close to everything. Bungalows are spacious and there is seating in the garden - nice to sit out in the evening. The restaurant was also good and well priced.
beautiful place, beautiful family, incredible hospitality, the room was super spacious and clean, with a nice view of the water. to be honest, compared to all of our travels in thailand and around the world, we will never forget suntisook. and after eating throughout KYN, their whole fish with curry was still lingering in our minds. a million thanks!
My pool villa is perfect for quiet introverted moments. The view of the hotel is simply stunning as see these amazing colours of the sea and sky changing during different times of the day. Breakfast spread is great. I like that it adhere to my halal dietary restrictions.
I liked the hotel and island so much that I extended my stay!
This is a 10/10 no doubt. It's a classic honeymoon kind of hotel, with private luxury villas extremelly well decorated, a few steps from the beach, with free SUPs and kayaks available, an incredibly helpful staff and three restaurants around to choose from, all with amazing food and drinks. I could not recommed this enough.
Lovely lady who runs the place, brought me a delicious breakfast to my balcony every morning :) Amazing views and such a peaceful location. I stayed for 9 nights and never wanted to leave!! Ko Yao Noi is a special island.
The location of this resort is amazing. The hotel picked us up in a shuttle, making the commute easy. And the resort sits on a private beach overlooking the bay and islands. Dreamy!
