We truly loved and enjoyed our stay in the Gomang hotel - our room was clean, bright and spacious, hotel made delicious breakfasts both Continental and Indian food and hotel staff was very lovely and helpful in any way we needed. Gomang hotel is situated in the upper part of the Changspa road in calm and green environment that is a pleasure to walk around. In case you need to go downtown, it´s very easy 10-15 minute walk. We´ll be glad to stay here again on our next trip to Leh!

5 days in Leh with my spouse was pure magic! We explored ancient monasteries, gasped at turquoise Pangong Tso, and hand-in-hand, braved the high altitudes. Leh's beauty brought us closer, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Leh is cold throughout the year.
Leh is cold throughout the year. That is the basic point we to remember. And at a altitude with its associated problems. Otherwise it is great holiday spot. So much to see.
A definite must to visit many times.

Most visitors to Leh prefer to stay longer to tour the valleys nearby. We went during the off-season and the main reason was to get away from the Delhi chaos over a weekend. So Leh served its purpose for us. The main market area has good cafes, restaurants and shops. Shanti Stupa is also present in Leh. Good vibes nothing less. Leh has a large Indian Army presence so we felt very safe and secure :)

Scenic views all around with the most amazing people! Momos were my favourite local dish that you can find at most restaurants. Love that Leh is more pedestrian friendly and quiet compared to the rest of India. Perfect destination for relaxation.

Its always in the bucket list of most Indians. Has the highest motorable roads, its a paradise for adventure seekers, highest saltwater lake, cold desert, treacherous roads, borders mof two neighbouring countries. Its a must visit place.

I was expecting a little more of the city.
I was expecting a little more of the city. The market is nice, I had some fine food, but the streets and sidewalks are too disorganized, there are signs "don't walk alone in the dark because of the stray dogs" (?!?!?), it's pretty smoggy and conservation in general is lacking. Came by bicycle through the Manali-Leh road, which was amazing, but the city itself wasn't a highlight of the trip.
The hotel staff and owner are all very friendly and helpful. They made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The restaurant provided us with very good food every day. In my opinion, India is a challenging place to travel but our stay in Ladakh was 100% hassle free and enjoyable due to the hospitality and comfort found at the hotel. The owner provided us with useful information related to daily activities and a very nice driver and taxi for transport.

We enjoyed our stay at Hidden Leaf so much that we extended our stay multiple times. The host family made us feel very welcome and made sure we felt at home. They cooked delicious food for us and helped us organise trips. We stayed in a three-bedroom that was exceptionally clean and beautiful - perfect for the 48-hour acclimatisation period in Ladakh. Can't recommend this accommodation enough!
My experience in lhazes hotel was amazing! The staff and the owners there were very friendly and helpful. Although i was living in a hotel, it genuinely felt like home. The food was delicious. They guided us to where we can go to view the actual beauty of ladakh. They tried their best in making our stay comfortable and as they did so, my vacations there was very memorable thanks to them.
Sonam...the owner is a nice person...helped in organising the trip for us and at reasonable rates by leh standards. He also got the bed gadda changed and arranged for a hard bed. He even gave us a room heater as it was cold but at relatively high prices....we were charged Rs500/- a day for the heater whereas we had paid only Rs 100/- extra perday for the heater at tawang six months back
The host(Anu) is an extremely cheerful , warm and
welcoming person who will literally take care of you
like your own family member . She is well versed with
all the must visit places and will guide you throughout
your stay in Leh Ladakh. The property is very beautiful
and cosy and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly .
Its a must visit if you’re ever in leh/ladakh
Hotel location is great as you can see morning sun rise, mountains from hotel window room.
And best part is the Hotel owner - Jimmi bhai. He is very helping person and guide you to the best and will arrange everything to become your trip best.
I recommend this hotel as rates are affordable for stay in such a location and best hospitality.
Best wishes always....
After a long ride from manali I wanted a comfortable stay and Ananda Ladakh gave me just that. It was short staffed as it was off season but the staff that was present made sure I got everything I needed. Must mention a staffer MOHIT who was courteous and resourceful. It's the service of such kind employees that makes your stay memorable.
Greatest, most friendly host in Leh! Delicious food (also traditional Ladakhi if you ask, delicious!) and drinks. Cozy, warm, quiet and really clean place. Well equipped room with nice view to mountains and suprisingly strong wifi (also during bad weather and heavy snowfall). Localization close to Leh market, maybe about 10 minutes.
We stayed here for 4 nights. It is one of those stays where words can’t describe the great views, great hospitality, great food. Nico and Mary have done the entire place very tastefully and helped us find out about open routes, guides, hotels in other places in ladakh as well. Would love to visit them in our next trip :D
We really enjoyed staying in Norbooling Homestay. The staff has been always keen to chat with us and pay attention to our needs. They gave us a good tips what to see in Ladakh. We felt very welcome here. It's quite place for relaxing. Food was delicious. It's half hour walking to city center as well as from the airport.
Host were very helpful and welcoming. He helped us in booking vehicle to roam around Ladakh. Room had facilities like heater, hot water in bathroom and Wi-Fi. Though they don't serve food here, in 200-300 meter walking distance food options were available. Had a comfortable stay. Hassle free check-in.
An excellent boutique hotel that is entirely worth the price. Exceptional service, very well furnished, warm and spacious rooms, wifi, and a beautiful collection of books. It makes you feel at home! The ideal comfy stay in Leh before or after traveling Ladakh!
Hospitality of Mr. Sonam is top notch.. and the breakfast prepared from the vegetables of garden is fresh as 💎 gem. Stay offers guests feel of the traditional ladakhi village and one option for night stay
who are enrotue tso mo ro ri lake
My dad and I had a great stay here. The family are all gracious hosts. They made us feel at home, were always warm and welcoming, and helped us with trip planning and logistics around Ladakh. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Leh!
Comfortable and beautiful rooms in Ladakhi style and very clean!
Staff was very friendly, although they did not speak too much of English.
Lunch and supper were served with fresh vegetables from the garden and very tasty and healthy!
House owner was courteous and humble. Treated us with lemon tea on arrival. House lady was nice and served us Ladakhi bread on the house.
Humble home stay.
