When i visited Yamba is was hammering down with rain which i guess is unusual. It made my short stay a bit bland as the beach was off and the town was very wet. However, i noticed two very busy restaurants, a nice little collection of shops and takeaways. a few drinking holes etc. Id say when the sun is shining it looks a 100% more appealing.
Im told the surfing is great but not my thing. wortha visit if youre a surfer or just travelling up the coast. lots of waterways, pelicand, wildlife.
Its just off the highway so easy access and when youre there you feel like youre in the middle of nowhere so that works!
Worth a trip for 2-4 days in my opinion.

Yamba is the most delightful place, I would live there if I could. Everything is so convenient. Restaurants are great, and I very rarely come home without a new pair of shoes - the shoe shop is excellent.

Yamba is lovely, beaches, fishing, golf, there is plenty to do . Be very careful where you stay , that is the key. The sands is great, be wary of the Cove, please note they are owned by the same organisation, I am just being honest.

I only stayed overnight on my way from QLD to VIC so didn't get to see much of the town. It seemed like a nice little seaside town though and would have loved to be able to stay longer to explore it.

Thank you.
Thank you. We stayed in the apartment and loved every minute. You have thought of all the little extras . Would have stayed longer but already booked. 100% we will be back. Very quick to respond, helpful and pleasant to deal with. ❤️
The units are close to all the shops and some of the Yamba beaches. That's great if you want to wander in to get a coffee, or have a meal and not worry about driving. We love Pippi Beach, on the other side of Yamba, which we just drove to. We now find several places we used to stay in, on the Pippi Beach side, are too expensive. Adrift is excellent value, especially compared to The Sands. We didn't get to meet any staff but everything was accessible and texts were quickly responded to, thank you, Sue.
The apartment has lots of room and the furnishings are very comfortable. The kitchen has almost everything I needed for self catering. ( I always have a few extra things like a stove-top coffee maker and a large pan for cooking pasta.) The hosts, Jacqui and Charlie gave a warm welcome. While I didn't need any assistance during my stay at Club Yamba I felt that they would have done their best to resolve any problem if I had encountered one.
This is the nicest hostel I have ever stayed in. It felt like a hotel (granted we had a private room). It was so clean. The bedroom had its own flat screen TV and bathroom had toiletries. The staff were so friendly. The cafe area has been converted to a micro-brewery. We tasted some beers and they were great. I would stay here again, it feels good to support local staff doing such a great job.
The location was great and the house had plenty of space for us all. We ate mostly at the accommodation and used all the kitchen facilities as well as the laundry. It has just about everything you need which is fab!
The staff at First National were great at handling everything and were always friendly when I spoke with them. Nothing was a bother and that was appreciated!
restaurants around hotel were great for breakfast, lunch and dinner.Beach is lovely, and very close to hotel so location is excellent.i was moved out of my 1st room due to workman next door and for only a little extra they upgraded me to a nice room. Thanks
A wonderful location, right at the beach in Yamba. The rooms were small but had everything you needed, as did the bathrooms. It was very handy to have the pub almost across the road, they served a very good dinner. And there were cafes nearby as well.
Unit was in good position, close to beach and hotel. The hotel had lovely views and delicious meals. The bed was very comfortable. The front rooms would have a good outlook. The pool, spa were very nice. Safe underground parking was welcome.
Wonderful location and friendly and helpful staff was an added bonus to our stay at Yamba Pacific . View from bar amazing. Restaurant area needs renovation and some fresh air access to make hotel a destination in itself
Is very family friendly. Not far from the beach and town centre.
Heat up pools was great to enjoy a swim and not be too cold.
Putt putt was fun and riding the go kart bikes around the resort was fun too.
It was my first time staying in Yamba, I had family camping at Blue Dolphin - location was great, nice walk into the city centre, great facilities, will definitely come again!
We love Yamba Beach Motel! we drive up to do a songwriting Camp in Broadbeach every year and really enjoy our stay here! It is always spotless and comfortable.
